My plan for Rise was clear the game with the SnS and then build backwards to play other weapons, an i sugest new players to do the same. While the LS really only needs quick sheath as a tech skill, the SnS needs none (and so do dual blades). It's also very new player friendly with sharpness management on the basher combo, a shield, eye frame abilities and insanelly good skilkbind moves. A real challenege woud be trying to clear the game with smth like charge blade

I chose to use the Kamura ninja blade as opposed to the Mizu longsword because I prefer having as much blue sharpness as possible

Very useful guide, I'm getting lazy after so many years lol. I'd add a couple things you forgot to mention: with Ibushi claws you can upgrade your talismans and get two as usual in the inventory. Secondly, using a wirebug whisperer charm and adding 2 decos in the equipment allows for WW3 which is invaluable (it really helped to cut down the hunt time against kadaki). Well I had to give up on the zin helmet but if you go right for the narga LS you can use the slot in it to get both the zin helmet and the WW3 gemmed in. Heading for rajang to get those legs and then to Narwa. After that I'll figure out the rest. Thanks Peppo.

Yeah, the armortalon and powertalon are pretty helpful, if you hunt Ibushi and you get the, it is indeed a wise choice to craft these 2 items right away :) Regarding WW3, in the moment of making this video the LS hasn't been nerfed yet, but with Sunbreak they did. Specifically Helm Breaker's cooldown got heavily increased making WW3 a priority for all MS builds. Cheers!

@@PeppoLS I see... well on ps4 I'm still playing vanilla but I use WW3 mainly for sakura and serene pose as I prefer em over helmbreaker. I'm already at HR150, now I understand why people complained about having little content in base Rise lmao. Thanks again man, you're awesome! 😁

@@PeppoLS is it a problem with the controller? on pc i use a brand new ps5 controller, and sometimes my char wont do the lil poke stab when u press o, or when I r2+ o counter, they wont counter and i end up doin a poke stab. same wit special sheathe although not nearly as much. I thought maybe they switches the combos you're allowed to do but I think you might be on to something. my game feel a bit clunky.
