I, about 4 weeks ago lost my brother in the tragic construction building collapsing here in London ON, he was a born again Christian, married, just had their first baby, and I have to say I have never felt God so close, I can say it is so very worth to have Jesus in your life, he comforts and heals the ones that love and follow him, God has been so good! I didn’t even know that person could heal this fast, on my part.

Anna, I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother. It has been a tough year for so many people. You are not alone in grieving the loss of a close loved one. The funeral or memorial service for one who knows Jesus I've found always so bittersweet. Sad because we hurt to miss them so, but happy because they are in the presence of the LORD.

i suffered abuse throughout the entirety of my childhod, then poverty and several severe afflictions to my health that i will likely contend with for the rest of my life. i'm still a young woman. there were more times than i can count that i asked God why He was doing this and to what end. when i look back, i see that my struggles gave me compassion, formidable courage, true humility, and dauntless faith. i am now emerging into a fruitful period of my life and all i can feel is overwhelming gratitude because in retrospect i can see every stone with which the Lord has paved my way - this channel and Wedflix are 2 of them(!). if you are suffering now, please know that you may not always be in the know, but you are never alone - you need only lean into Him, for His shoulder is indomitable

Wow , I really needed to hear this .😭😔 I was led by the Holy Spirit to read Romans 8:28 one morning . I didn’t really understand why the Holy Spirit led me to this verse , till in the afternoon I get the though news that my father passed away . Losing him at age 18 , not having Him see me start college ,neither getting a job , and starting a family and him being the grandpa of my kids is just so heart breaking because I never thought he would go so soon . Thanks a lot Nate and Sutton for this video , it’s a good mindset start to begin this new year . God bless you both and your kids , you’re such an inspiration ❤️

I did the same thing many moons ago. I felt I had to have a degree to reflect my worth and my value. I had pressure from my family to do well and perform. But I kept ending in quagmire again and again. I was also getting ill and sick from the whole thing. But I repeated mistakes. I never finished my degree, but I'm happier, healthier (mentally), and things worked out. You don't have to go through the same cookie-cutter process everyone else is doing.

The hardest trial I have had to go through recently was my husband being deployed for a year only a month after we got married (we are high-school sweethearts and dated and waited for 4 1/2 years before getting married). Not only did I constantly have an ache for him and overwhelming loneliness at times, but we went through so many trials in the midst of that trial, having to navigate through them on opposite ends of the earth. Sometimes I still question why God led my husband into the military when it has brought so much heartache, but I know that we are so much stronger because of it. It has strengthened our commitment to one another and now we feel like we can get through anything life throws at us. There is no way out of our covenant except through the Lord taking one of us home! I know I will look back on this trial with gratitude and I give myself grace now as I'm still processing it and wrestling with God about it.

I love this! Such an important topic. God has delivered me out depression and so many hard times. Years ago I went though the worst breakup and I thought there was no going up from there. Someone reminded me that it’s God’s plan and that that person wasn’t the right one for me. 6 months later I found the love of my life and I’ve been with him for almost 3 years now. October of 2019 I fell into a super dark depression after going through something traumatic and I kept blaming myself that I did something to deserve that. I prayed constantly and recovered from that depression. God is incredible and my faith was tested but I believe I am so much stronger and my faith is so much stronger after the hardest trials. Posted on the most recent Porn Almost Ended Your Relationship video (I really hope you read it, not to shame you, but encourage change. If I am way way off I apologize. The holy spirit has led me to say something for so long and I haven't due to the awkwardness of it. But I have recently tried to listen when I feel like it leads me, because it has proven so many times to be right.) Nate, what your words are saying and what your body language and spirit are screaming are not lining up. I am going to just throw this out there as the reminder that iron sharpens iron, and we are all brothers and sister in Christ. I can see the demons you are fighting and I want to speak directly to them. You might be deceiving people, but you are not deceiving God. What is done in darkness will come to light. There is no shame in having struggles, but the enemy likes to make the sin have a "feel good" part to it which you obviously know. Fight it, follow the advice that you KNOW will help you. Sutton is such an amazing woman of God, and so beautiful inside and out, I can see why you married her. But something is telling me there are two sides to you. You have a good wife that you know is beautiful, sweet, honorable, a great mother to your children, a great friend and partner in life. But your heart also lusts after other women, other body types, other sexual experiences. You crave acceptance from them. You know deep down that you do things with the intention for women to desire you and lust you. And that is playing with fire. When the opportunity comes around, which it will, you may be so engulfed in in that you don't flee. I am telling you this, as awkward as it feels on my part, because God put it on my heart (since over a year ago) and I care about your marriage. I care about that sister in Christ sitting right next to you who doesn't deserve the deception. I will pray for you, and for your marriage, and I hope you do what you know is right and put the guards up, talk to the right people you need to be victorious over this once and for all. It is not worth the cost to continue embracing the sins, fight them.

Hi! I know this wasn't the point of the video, but I am surprised that you said James is Jesus' brother. I am Catholic and we do not believe that Jesus had any siblings because Mary is a virgin. Can you explain why you believe James is Jesus' brother? I am genuinely just curious because I had never been told this. Thanks for spreading such a positive and uplifting message!
@KC_Jones3 жыл бұрын
Dear Marissa, It is very clear from the gospels that Jesus had brothers and sisters. In Matthew 13:55 & 56 it says “Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us?” It is also very clear that Mary was a virgin until she gave birth to the Lord Jesus but that she and Joseph had marital relations after that and she had the above mentioned children by Joseph. Matthew 1:18-25 clearly explains this. May I lovingly encourage you to read the scriptures (start with the gospels) yourself and learn the magnificent truths contained therein. It’s the only way you will grow in your faith, and God will honor it and bless you.
@Howdy20243 жыл бұрын
Hey, I’m addition to what the previous commenter said the book of John chapter 7:1-4 mention that Jesus’ own brothers did not believe that he was the messiah. Only after Jesus’ death did James believe. Also in Galatians 1:19 Paul describes James as “the Lord’s brother.” My grandparents are Catholic and I went to Catholic Church sometimes growing up, but I was surprised when I found out a year ago that Catholic doctrines say Mary remained a virgin for the rest of her life. I guess I don’t quite understand why that is. The only thing I can think of is that her prescribed virginity makes her seem more Holy, but the understanding that I have is that marital sex is part of and just as Holy as chastity. Also at the Matthew 1:24-25 say that Joesph followed that angel’s instructions “but KNEW her not until she had given birth to a son.” That word knew is a common biblical euphemism for sex. So if he knew her not UNTIL, then it follows that he did “know” her afterward.
