The new port terminal is suppose to open last week of May. Did you ask to be dropped off away from the entrance of Atlantis?

We didn’t make any specific requests. He dropped us off right at the entrance to Atlantis.

Since I made this video, there an even easier more civilized way. There is an official taxi stand now right inside the new port. You don’t even even to leave the port to find a taxi. It’s only a 10 minute drive. See my video of the new port. I’ll post link next

Hi and thanks. Yes it’s same price. However please note- now that they have the new terminal finished, all you need to do is go to the new taxi stand right inside the port as soon as you go past the large video screen. It’s super easy and safe.

Oh yes they still have golf cart shuttles from the ships to the arrival area.

What did you mean that they drop you off further away? We always walked out the furthest leftside to the taxis and left to the fenced parking lot like you did bit you walked to the right first. Our taxi always dropped us off and picked us up at that same fenced lot. And we took the tram back to the ship. 😉

This guy dropped us off near Bay Street. Probably 1-2 blocks from entrance to the terminal.

Do you need a day pass to get to Atlantis if you just want to walk around and shop and eat?

No. However they limit you to where you can go. They do have a cool shopping area. Also- now that the new terminal is compete- there is a nice taxi stand right inside the new port area so you don’t have to go outside to get a taxi.
