@@japantastymealsguidebooksa4644 quick question. What route should I take to get back to Osaka namba station? I will be touring there for a day at Kiyomizu Temple and get back on the afternoon to osaka? Hope you reply. God bless!

Return to JR Kyoto Station and from there take the train to JR Osaka Station. Walk from JR Osaka Station to Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Umeda Station (M16). From Umeda Station (M16), take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and arrive at Namba Station (M20). I think this route is the easiest to understand.

estimated how long did this route take as compared to taking the bus from kyoto station? ignore the queueing part...

Thank you for your comment. Approximately 30 minutes by bus from Kyoto Station to Kiyomizu Temple. If you follow the route in this video, I think it will take about 45 minutes to get to Kiyomizu Temple.

Thank you for your comment. It's downhill from Kiyomizu-dera to Yasaka Shrine. I hope you have a wonderful trip to Japan.

Hi, thank you for sharing. Is the taxi or bus as crowded in the morning? How about visiting during weekday instead of weekend same crowded 😅?
@japantastymealsguidebooksa46448 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Currently, Kyoto is extremely crowded regardless of the time or day of the week.😰

Hello- what is the closest point to kiyomizudera we can get dropped off from Kyoto station in a cab if going with an old person who cannot walk too much? :)
@japantastymealsguidebooksa46446 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Taxis can take you to the "Niomon" gate at the entrance to Kiyomizu-dera Temple until 8:00 a.m. Kiyomizu-dera Temple opens at 6:00 a.m., so I recommend going early in the morning. There are fewer tourists in the early morning. During the day, you can take a taxi to the "Kiyomizu Taxi noriba", which is 300 meters before the entrance to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. However, this varies depending on the taxi driver. I hope you have a wonderful trip to Japan.
