How To Get/Place The Lordvessel: • Where To Go & What To ...
In This video I talk about and show you how to get to the DLC in dark souls remastered. It can be kind of tricky, but if you follow along with the video it should be no problem. First off, you'll need to have placed the lord vessel because one of the locations we need to go to is the Duke's Archives. To start, go to dark root basin and defeat the hydra. After that, go to the cave located at the back of the lake and kill the golden golem there. Inside the golem is an npc named Dusk of Oolacile. After speaking with her you will need to head to the first bonfire in Duke's Archives. Once you get there, head up the elevator and kill the golem in the next room. The golem will drop the broken pendant. Take The pendant back to the place where you found dusk and examine the dark mist. Good Luck!

To clear up some common questions: How do you rescue Dusk/find the Golden Golem?: Kill the Hydra, and save and reload the game. You can do this before getting the Lord Vessel, but you still need it to get the Broken Pendant. How do you get the Dusk/Antiquated Set?: You need to summon Dusk and then run back to where you fought the Golem (by the portals if you have the Broken Pendant) How do you get the Broken Pendant?: Go to the Duke’s Archives and kill one of the crystal golems. Is the DLC (Artorias of the Abyss) included with the Remaster?: Yes. Why should I wait to kill Sif?: Spoilers! Turn back if you don’t want to be spoiled! Due to some weird time voodoo shit, you can save Sif when he was a small puppy, and there will be an alternative cutscene before the Sif fight.

Totally didn't expect to go back to the lake where I faught the Hydra and all the golems. The only thing that would have got me back here is if I for some reason decided to check if the NPC is still here and if she'd offer something new. Unfortunately you’ll just have to go back through again. I think you will be surprised at how much easier the second playthrough will be though. And you only need to get to the lordvessel to have access to the dlc so its really just the first half of the game you have to do.

I do not have a guide for that boss, but I could certainly make one. There are actually two ways to unlock the fight. You can grab a ring called the dark moon seance ring in the catacombs or like aidan said, kill gwynevere(the person by the chamber of the princess bonfire)

Look for a dev-message under a breakable wall in the catacombs, go through it and follow the natural route of progression. A big skeleton will fall through the roof in front of the item you need. Take the item to the bottom of the corkscrew stairs in Anor Londo.

The game goes straight to ng+ after you beat the last boss, that’s the only thing that could prevent you from going to the dlc. As long as you do it before the last boss you’re fine.

Sorry I didn’t realize I had a typo there, you have to buy* it separately. If you have an xbox I was able to find it on the xbox website and buy it there. It’s called “Artorias of the abyss”. Not sure about playstation but I assume its a similar process.

There’s 3 pendant items. There’s the Pendant, which is a starting gift, and does nothing and can only be traded with Snuggly for a Souvenir of Reprisal. There’s the Broken Pendant, which you can get in the Duke’s Archives as the video describes, and then there’s the Silver Pendant, which is in the DLC. None of them have any relation.
