Hello! My wife and I look forward to visiting in the middle of May. We hear there are recommendations to hire e-bikes to take a ride from Garmisch to Eibsee. Has anyone taken this trip and are there recommendations/insights? One thing I am interested in is how can we separate ourselves from the bikes for a while to do some hiking around the lake. Thank you!

@Iwannagofast79 hi! on the day of this video shoot, I actually tried to make the same trip by bicycle. Near Grainau, a local spoke to me and told me that the slope was too steep and it was impossible! So I parked my bicycle and took a bus. However, I think it's possible with an E-bike.
