How to get "true shuffle" on Spotify

to add all the songs to a different playlist you can rightclick the playlist you want to copy and press "add to playlist"

Yeah it's really dumb. And it sucks bc I don't want to switch to Apple/Amazon/KZbin music. If Spotify just gave us the option for true shuffle (And stopped messing with the UI) it would be the perfect music app :/

There are also websites like "Spotify Dedup" that lets you remove duplicate songs. There's also "musicalyst" which lets you see Spotify stats 😉 Might do a video on these in the future idk

I wish this was true shuffle. Unfortunately Spotify works really hard on not letting you have true shuffle and if you do this with a big playlist you’ll never reach the bottom. All of a sudden in the middle of the playlist, it’s coming to some point where songs are starting to play randomly over again. Spotify just hates their users so much

Yeah I wish true shuffle was the default, but I guess they think their algorithm shuffle is better (It's not)

I just had to get True Shuffle 😅 I keep hearing the same songs every day and one of my playlists currently has over 1.7K songs. So having almost 2K but you constantly hear the same let's say 150 songs daily is so boring/stupid. By the way, you said you should keep the window open while shuffling. Does that mean that the screen should be left on that website or is it fine if I use other tabs/windows while it shuffles?

You can do other things in the background just make sure you don't x out of the website while its working. You can go on other tabs and stuff 👍

Yes, although after it's done shuffling you might have to restart the playlist or spotify app to see the new order

I use an extension called "ScrollAnywhere" chromewebstore.google.com/detail/scrollanywhere/jehmdpemhgfgjblpkilmeoafmkhbckhi addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/scroll_anywhere/ I think the default is set to another key but I changed it to left click :)
