I would be interested in paying you to help me with that map project I mentioned below. I'm having a difficult time not having Photoshop to keep the map size and resolution.

@peoplestvbypiyush Жыл бұрын
Yes, wherever you can get building data you can export a high-res file of it and use sketch and v-ray to do it Blender i haven't tried, but it can be done there as well
@waltdog123 Жыл бұрын
fascinating! thank you for the contribution! with this process, can one capture a larger area and import a high resolution image as well? trouble I've had in the past making maps at distance is the poor quality of the image. obviously much higher once zoomed in.
@peoplestvbypiyush Жыл бұрын
Yes walt, we can go to larger scale maps as well, now Google Earth has increased the resolution more in their software.

One last question if that’s ok? Unsure if Global Mapper is stand alone, or once used is added back to the saved GoogleEarth image? ( like adding a layer in a graphics program) I’m currently working on a quite large map and doubt capturing the entire area for Global mapper would work? Thanks again!!

What actually you are trying to do , can you be more clear??

@@peoplestvbypiyush sure! I'm taking a large section of country side from Google Earth ,(~140x180 mi) eventually I want to print it out roughly 46" x 50" map board. So I'm wanting as best a quality for that scale reasonably possible. ty !!
@peoplestvbypiyush Жыл бұрын
try making 46inh by 56 inch paper size in photoshop and import the google earth image into it, make sure you don't reduce the dimension of the imported image, if required you can increase it bit, try to play with resolution in Photoshop, you can directly give print from photoshop to maintain the resolution, use CMYK for print I do it for my banner printing it works well REFRENCE VIDEO : kzbin.info/www/bejne/op6qmqqlmN5njZY (not the same topic but you will find some tricks to maintain the print resolution), hope it will help, Thanks (keep watching, like and share)

@@peoplestvbypiyush absolutely wonderful information! I think I've done something like that before creating the Photoshop template to size and high pixel count. very tedious but I even then would go back to Google Earth zoom into a section to get the higher resolution then overlay in a layer back on my image to get a much crisper prettier result.

@iMBoT In the video only photos are shown. There is no information overlay like borders, roads etc. It is just aerial photography. In my opinion.

@iMBoT I have a friend working with GIS systems. So I know most things about it. - Maybe we should stop right here. The video is called "How to get ULTRA HIGH RESOLUTION maps from GOOGLE EARTH and GLOBAL MAPPER". And that's not what is shown.
