Never went for P5 directly but this is a great tutorial on how to do it.

What is the purpose of quitting after the 8th batter bats as opposed to playing the game out? Rinse and repeat the same approach
@TopSlizzy8 ай бұрын
You quit after you get your lead off guy up for the second time. By quitting, you’re able to get that lead off guy up 2 more times in the same amount of time it would take you to get that lead off batter up 1 more time staying in the game

I haven’t had the time to record it yet. I’m working on getting that out ASAP. Hopefully by tomorrow night

I am wondering… What if you put the guy you’re working towards in cleanup spot and push everyone down so now it is leading off with the 3 bunters and hopefully 2 grand slams with only 3 extra ABs to get there.
@TopSlizzy8 ай бұрын
Wouldn’t be worth it for the extra rbi’s imo. If you did that 99% of the time you wouldn’t be able to get it done in the first inning. Getting it done in the first and not having to pitch the second is far more important to me than 3 extra RBI’s

How long would you say it takes to get the primary guy p5?
@TopSlizzy8 ай бұрын
If you’re going from 0 parallel to 8,000 (P5), I’d say around 10-13 hours. Last year it was taking me on average 16-18 hours to go from 0 to 10,000 with a couple of hours of breaks. 1/1’ing the milestone trout took me from 2:45pm to 8:30am with a few hours of breaks. If you work on it a couple of hours everyday, you can easily get the 1 hitter done and the rest of the team atleast P4 and 5,000+ Pxp in under a week

By quitting out I'm able to get 2 more at bat's in with my leadoff guy in the same amount of time it would take to me to get another 1 at-bat if I didn't quit

But if you're also trying to P5 a pitcher; you lose out on 500-600pxp?@@ShowZoneMLB
@Kuczirka78 ай бұрын
If that's the cade why not throw a pitcher in to get his parallel up too?
@SRM1108 ай бұрын
I never understood this quitting the game after one time through the lineup. Just put 9 guys in you want p5 and just grind, put them out of position if you have to
@TopSlizzy8 ай бұрын
I already responded to a few comments answering this question, but by quitting I’ll be able to get my lead off guy up 2 more times in the same amount of time it would take to get him up once more if I didn’t quit. I would not have been able to get the 1/1’s I have if I stayed in the games and weren’t quitting them. The video is about how to grind PXP for a player in the fastest way possible. That requires quitting.

The pitching selection also works in conquest , use your 4th pitcher and cpu will also use its 4th pitcher , not sure about mini seasons tho.

So theoretically you would have to do this 80 times? It's a great video and it's a great tutorial but man does that seem like an awful lot of waste of time
@chriscrocker75638 ай бұрын
Actually check that. I see that this is strictly for if you want to P5 which I get would be a lot faster especially for the hitters. I am definitely going to try this with a couple of my favorite players because I feel like it takes forever to get the hitters up especially if you play off-line like I do
@TopSlizzy8 ай бұрын
Yea and probably more than that since you won’t get 100 pxp with your main guy every single time. Last year it took me from 2:45pm to 8:30am to 1/1 P5 the milestone trout (with a few hours break). Last year was 10k for P5 tho and now it’s 8k. It’s definitely a grind but this is by far the fastest way to get parallel up for hitters. If you’re only focusing on pitching, then you can just bunt out every inning and do full 9 inning games pitching.
