Hey Carrie, love your videos ! For me, the issue is not about the first order but actually showing up to the client on the first pages. For example two of my firends, when they first got into Fiverr, just changed their tags once and showed up on the very first page ! Idk what's the issue for me I did everything they did but I'm still not showing up in any page I've been on Fiverr for over a month now :/

Unfortunately, I feel like SEO is misunderstood. Optimization isn’t a one-time thing, it’s an ongoing process of adapting with changing systems and building on performance data that you gain along the way. So if you think that you ‘did all the SEO things’ but it’s flatlining, then it clearly didn’t work. Tweak, revise, test, improve. But letting it sit on zero won’t go anywhere. Hi, I’m on Fiverr, but every time I look in the requests page, and nothing is there! Ever! I’ve also noticed a large amount of sellers are middle eastern, so I’m wondering if maybe I’m missing things because of time differences?

I don’t think that’s it… time zones wouldn’t really effect it because most requests are up for several days. Then again, haven’t used or even opened that feature for years. As far as I know, you unlock more requests being shown to you with higher seller levels, and it’s obviously different across categories based on demand. Good luck!

Estimate that about 1-3% is great CTR (click-through ratio), so you do need to work on the click-ability factor, but you’ve also just hardly had enough visibility to get a real judgment yet

Do you think the private surveys after a completed gig holds a lot of weight with your features and your search rank? I'm a graphic designer (pretty saturated field I know) but I'm a level 2 5 star seller with about 200 reviews ( and perfect 100% scores across the board) and Fiverr says I don't qualify for seller plus or even the ability to promote my gigs but they won't tell me why. It could only be negative private surveys right?

I have no idea why you’re not accepted into those programs, to be honest. But I don’t think it holds an enormous amount of weight because there are so many metrics being tracked and it’s not a very long questionnaire.

I highly disagree with the idea of "bringing an audience" from somewhere else to Fiverr, IF you're not known to that audience as a *freelancer.* For example, if you're a blogger known for your cutting edge philosophical takes (random example) then out of the blue stating to your audience that you're selling copywriting services on Fiverr will actually cheapen out and diminish the perceived value of your brand to that same audience. All in all, I'd say that you should not acritically ask your audience to now go on to Fiverr and buy your service. It depends a lot on who that audience is, and what you are known for. And that is something only the person in question will know how to evaluate the best.

I’d also add that whatever decision you make shouldn’t happen instantaneously and, like you said - out of the blue. But if you strategically built sales psychology articles into your platform a few months ahead of the Fiverr promotion (for your example), then that would make a heck of a lot more sense.
