Do advise letting your lashes cool off for a minute or two after using it? I do that when I heat my curler with a blow dryer and it seems to “set” the curl.

I had to stop using a traditional eyelash curler years ago because one particular day, I needed to change out the curler pad and a TON OF MY EYELASHES FELL OUT OF IT!!!!! (Yes, I used all capital letters because it was traumatizing!) I realized that my curler was PULLING out my already sparse eyelashes! SO!...I will be trying your heated curler because it will be nice to curl my poor ole lashes that I have left w/out yanking them out! THANK YOU SO MUCH for providing this for us!

I used my new eyelash curler once. I will try again because I didn't have good results. I tried it on medium heat and it really was too hot for my eyes. I changed to low heat which still seemed hot. I tried to use Nikol's technique,but zero results.

I've done this for the last 8 years but I don't show it because people usually go "I can't believe you are putting something hot near your eye" AS IF I'd actually be stupid enough to bring something scorching hot to my eye LOL ...a lot of the time I just skip the before heating just because I don't have a problem with my lashes being straight but the after mascara is a secret weapon for sure :D Thanks Nikol! xoxo

Wow, I have a curling heat lash tool like yours for 20 years and used it probably twice and is stashed somewhere in my closet. I am going to dig it up and start using it again. Although it needs a battery to function too. Your video remained me I already have one, thanks. Have a great day Nikol.😊👍💝 Wait a minute. I think I stopped curling my lashes & put my tool away because there was an article somewhere that I read something about heating your lashes could be damage just like your hair can get damage from curling irons.. Anyway the lash tool I used were not that hot but more like on the warm side that's why I hated taking quite awhile to curl my lashes.

I use a lash conditioner first, then the heated curler, then mascara. I have thin, fine hair and lashes so it doesn’t take me long at all to get a curl and the conditioner helps to protect my lashes from the heat. (Not that the curler is all that hot, I just feel better about it😝)

Two questions. One, why don't you go ahead and apply the mascara on the eye you just curled before moving to the next (it would lock in even more of the curl) right? And, after the second curl, is it ok to put on another coat for those of us who really like standout real lashes?

You have to get the natural eyelashes to curl first to give it a good look.

Can this tool be used to straighten outer lashes at the corners of the upper lash line that are too curled up ? I try to use the weight of the mascara to straighten them but usually end up w/ way too much mascara.

Nikol... I have been a fan of yours for years &I'm also subscribed to your KZbin channel. Due to the pandemic & my age/my health condition (I am a paraplegic) continuing to rapidly deteriorate which has forced me into a wheelchair full time. In turn now I'm on disability. Wow...definitely not for me ... like you wrote you need patience lol ! Your Chanel Mascara seemed a little dry or is it your curler that gives that effect to make mascaras dry faster ? For me Chanel makes lashes like velvet ! I changed for Lancôme ! they make eyes bat like Marilyn Monroe ! Well now that I know You have a line of make up , I will look it up ! This is a last attempt to get this thing to work it. It has never worked so I thought fresh batterie and look up directions one more time hope to God that it would work. And I wasn’t just throwing my money away again. Because I have very delicate eyelashes that like to break when I pinch up together with eyelash curlers. But no, won’t even heat up a little. Don’t change the color at all. So sick of throwing my money away on cheap shit the cost a lot. Done with the brand new yay stuff it will work. Yay. I’m just keeping my money. Keep my basic make up. That’s it.😡
