That’s the thing. Everyone knows what pre edits are intended to do. But no one knows why there is an edit delay when you have “diable pre edit” on. It’s a bug that’s been in the game for a while, its on Epic Games’s end to fix it

The high mesh builds is mostly for controller players on pc. A lot of kbm players say that they feel smoother on low mesh compared to high mesh. And having pre edits on helps confirm edits faster and helps you edit from farther away…everyone should know this by now

No necessarily. High end pc with high mesh means the gpu will work more and the cpu works less. Since fort is a cpu heavy game, you will get less delay. This doesn’t apply to people who have low end specs
