This was truly an epic troll level for Carl with so many clever setups. I picked 5 cool contraptions but there are lots of others so let me know in the comments if you want to see more.

All accurate. A couple are a bit different from the actual setup, but the ideas are the same and as you said, getting it exactly the same as what we used is just not gonna happen when we hid it all behind lava or offscreen. If only there were a way to look at downloaded levels in the editor...... (pls nintendo just give me this)

Thank you for confirming! As I was making the video, I was imagining one of the creators commenting and saying "not even close", especially for the lava and offscreen setups since there was no way I could know the exact setups

I feel like you should be able to download levels after clearing them so it doesn’t spoil the level ahead but you can still see the setups and contraptions

@@liahmmessinger3753 plagiarism was the exact reason for excluding this feature in SMM2, i just wish they had made it an option for creators and had a warning when turning that option on that levels may be plagiarised if u turn this feature on, allowing creators to choose if they wasn't their creations to be able to be edited or now making that risk entirely up to the creator if they want teir levels to be susceptible or not. i really wish i had played SMM1 so i could of used this feature to it's fullest but seeing as i didn't own it i couldn't :(

Trolls are definitely a kind of puzzle and the MM2 engine makes for some very cool surprises that you can doo

@@DannyBPlays they literally aren't though. They kill the player in funny ways, which is different from what puzzles are. Anyone who says they are the same is dead wrong AND has the wrong opinion, which sucks because it takes away the magic from these levels. Think about that before you make a stupid claim next time. Also great video i'm not attacking you they just are NOT puzzles. thats all

thanks, also a problem with seeing glitches is that many get patched out. For example my previous troll setup video shows a few setups that you can't do anymore because they were patched out

*Me:* I love troll levels and want to make them using good trolls *Danny:* This is how to make some awesome trolls! *Me:* Yes finally I can makes some good ones! *Danny:* So first place a POW block here, then make sure the ratio of the level code id is approximately 6-9 or have a proper and fair use of 420 different enemies blocking a certain number of solid on/off blocks to make sure it can properly make the player not get the power in a question mark block. Then later in the level make sure you have a thowmp that waits 6.9 seconds before attacking the player. Then the player should fall for the troll and you have a successful troll in the level. *Me:* :O

What does the pokey have to do with anything at the end? Is it just to indicate / offer a death if the person goes there too early?

I was going to mention it but didn't want to overcomplicate it. It's actually a distraction because there needs to be an explosion that destroys the block with the thwomp overlapping it. The creators knew that if you only saw the one explosion off screen and no changes then you'd suspect something fishy was going on off screen. By adding the pokey explosion at the same time, you don't hear the other one and so you don't think there's anything extra happening off screen
