💙A little bit about me 💉
I am a surgical nurse by background and work as a Junior Sister in Acute and Chronic pain services. I was redeployed to Intensive Care Unit following the initial Covid-19 outbreak in March 2020. I worked there for 3 months as a Nurse with zero critical care nursing background, but was determined to adapt and provide care for my patients.
On the first shift of the New Year (2021), I was immediately redeployed back to the same Covid Intensive Care Unit and I am currently caring for Covid patients in an ICU setting.

Is there a difference between SBAR handover when you’re handing over to the doctor/escalating concern and the handover you give at the end of the shift to the day shift nurse or night shift nurse?
