hopefully the creator still reads these comments, i would like to thankyou for basically showing me how to pop and wave. this, along with your other tutorials, literally created the foundation for my dancing, if you could see the progress ive made since learning that first arm wave to now, youd genuinely be proud! also you wouldnt believe how much chicks dig a dancer, so i guess i gotta thankyou for getting me laid too. cheers!

really good tutorial, well explained. A little advice for who wants to learn the glide: try practicing a lot of c-walk to get some heel-toe practice. The glide will look much better and you also learn another style in the process

good question! on step 5 when u slide your foot in, let it keep going iextra far, then transfer your weight while keeping your body moving. Basically let your foot slide in further and transfer your weight while moving. :)

Great tutorial!! It's a bit messed cuz my feet were as if the stuck to my floor. So I had this crazy idea of puuting baby powder on the floor. lmao. I'll tell ya it helped me practice... but I'm sure they won't be having baby powder on the dance floor at the clubs..hahaha. Good dancin' shoes is required!! Take care!

in his early days he was good, and in the 80s too but honestly, 2 months ago nobody ever talked about how they liked michael jackson. now, everybody and their kitchen stove is saying about how awesome he is. give me a break. he was talented, but in his later days he had a lot of stress, and stress at that age will eventually kill someone. i have to pay him respect since he died but i still think he was incredibly weird and he must of been out of his mind after what he did with the kids.
@kleinasinas14 жыл бұрын
It's easy. I just did the moonwalk perfectly smooth that's why I find glides easy now. But still working one really boneless popping waves.
@TheRussianTiger14 жыл бұрын
@crash2fast A smooth bottom helps, but if you get good enough any shoe is fine. Try rubbing some baby powder on the bottom when practicing ;)

@TheRussianTiger13 жыл бұрын
@whatsup02 Flat bottom shoes will make it easier, but you want to practice in the hardest circustances so when you actually do it --- it will be easier. Dont practice in socks because it will be much harder when you actually do it, unless you plan on going to the club in socks... :)
@bbKristjan15 жыл бұрын
really good tips at the end ;) btw, does it look alot better if u glide on the tips of your toes (although you almost need clogs for that :P)
@loganmcready12 жыл бұрын
Cool! I'm gonna glide to work instead of walk from now on.
@TheRussianTiger15 жыл бұрын
Keep practicing. When a baby started walking they fall down, eventually you walk without thinking what the "steps" are -- just practice :)
@AllanLamana14 жыл бұрын
Hey I got a few Questions, could you help me ? When sliding the foot on the ground, makes a noise as if 'dragging' or something? If making this noise, it is wrong? How to fix? And, how I will know if what I'm doing is 'right' ? It's not always that I have a big mirror or someone to say if the moves are right or wrong... Thanks, and keep going on what you are doing, I really thank you
@TheRussianTiger15 жыл бұрын
its ok it takes time... practicing about 1hr/day i think it took me 1 or 2 weeks cuz i used to learn very slow, but you will get better at picking up moves - promise!

So it's basically moonwalking in any general direction? Great, I got this!
