Your nails looks amazing! I have a question, i see you put base coat on Polygel nails and then you put some sparkling glitter on them. And then you go over with extra Polygel. Would it work if I skip the extra Polygel part and put a topcoat over the glitter ? I'm asking this because I don't have the skills to put Polygel without a dualform on to my nail 🙈🤣

CathyCat Hi, I don’t see why not. I’ve used the Polygel with the forms in the past which worked well but I used too much looking at this, so I’ve learned something there lol. These nails are so neat , great job! I suppose practice makes perfect eh! The best thing to do is just do a test on one finger. When you have some time to experiment. That’s what I do and you learn a lot from it. I’m going to have another go. I don’t have any clear Polygel so like you I will try just a top coat. Good luck 😉

When I used top coat on the glitter without poly gel on top it made the surface very rough and bumpy. I had to do tons of filing to make it smooth again. In the process I lost most of the glitter I laid down so it was pointless. I'm now practicing on laying poly gel without dual form for this very reason lol. I LOVE glitter and it's a must on every set I do. This was my experience and I'm a beginner so it may work different for you. Good luck to you!

I'm 13 and I'm gonna get into doing my own poly gel nails. My hands are really small, so I'm not sure how to get the right size dual forms except for cutting and filing them. Plus, I can't find any X-Small size ones. Is there any advice you have for me lol?
