HOW TO GO #2 WHEN LIVING THE VAN LIFE!?!? (PART 2)

This was a great conversation. I live in a 14ft Chevy box truck. I think it’s the best solution for me. I’m super stealth. I have a pass thru, no windows, two max air fans. 600 watts of solar, 250ah battery, full kitchen with a big sink and a stove w/ an oven. I also have a built in shower. I can park pretty much anywhere except for residential areas long term. I mostly park in industrial areas. I think step vans and box trucks are the best conversion. Just my opinion from living in a cargo van, and now a box truck. If you need windows. A bus conversion would be good too, but parking a bus in the city looks strange. I see tons of RV’s trying to park in these industrial areas, and they get on my nerves. I avoid them at all costs. Stay safe everyone!

I stayed in a rv park for a month and cleaning the holding tanks of my rv was super ok for me. But the hose was connected the whole time and I just needed to pull the little plug to release the dirty water. I guess if you have to connect and disconnected the sewer hose every time it can be very disgusting.

That's just being homeless.. There's a thin string between homeless and van life. But there is nothing more disgusting than someone in a Van. Crapping in a plastic bag and leaving it in a Walmart trash can for somebody earning minimum wage to dispose of.

Guess it really depends on the van,if it was one Jeremy built I wouldn't consider them homeless by any means.better than most apartments!

Someone working at Walmart changing trash liners is dealing with nastier things in there. That’s why PPE should be worn, and that’s why it pays what it pays. Should be a starter job for young folks and should be a reason to want to apply for better paying jobs.
