By the time you've set all of this up, you'd have probably used more time than you'd have lost by playing normally.

The only thing that requires set up is your center card, which you can change prior to the event. Ideally you sell all your useless members before the event starts as well.

Klab should disable receving points for DELIBERATELY QUITTING the match. Are they nuts? I can understand the points given for failing, because... well, shit happens. It's just a small prize to heal your shame for losing (even if people then became accustomed to this, "creating" the failstrat) but i really don't see ANY REASON for receiving points quitting. It's really against every logic. And i'm pretty sure some immoral player sooner or later would start to use the quitstrat to get #1 in an event even in the global version. It's just a matter of time. Btw, the first part of your video is pretty useful! But, even if you can "save" even one hour of time every day, it can be still useless. Let's assume i'm a player who plays "fast" but that i can manage only to play about 16 hours every day (because i lack stamina or time for various reason). If another player plays 18 hours every day i will still lose to him even if he is playing slow. Again, i'm not considering useless your analysis, it's amazing, but sadly going fast sometimes can't save you from another player who have more time or stamina than you.

Wow. It makes sense now for that first hold note thing. I swore I fudged on a note once time and still got FC and was wigged out by it. Thanks for disclosing these things. I just T1'd the ChikaRiko event. Would've been nice to know about time save for the voiceless centers and what not. Gonna give this a go in the next Token event. You should also have discussed about picking shorter songs (for token events unless I missed you saying that)? I guess it's a given but I never thought of that until I saw someone say it in a twitter comment. I just picked what song I enjoyed most instead of shortest song possible. I laughed a lot at the "quit" strat. XD QUIT TILL YOU WIN.

Am I the only one who thinks fail/quitstratting deeply unethical? Those who do it are basically doing nothing but buying their way to the card while stealing T1/T2 slots from people who ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME. I will never do that and I have no respect for anyone who does.

After watching this video, I understood that to get to the top tier it not the matter of spending lots of Love Gems, it is already by default. It is the matter of how much time and how efficient you send the time. And if everyone is using quit/fail strategy, then KLab will get a crazy amount of money, so they have no reason to discourage that.
