Ive been playing these new OEMs now for about 5 hours and now im actually enjoying mxbikes more than i was in b18. Leaning forwards helps a ton!! Throttle control is also soooo much better. Also cutting down in supercross is actually insanely fun. I think these new OEMs just need to be givin a chance since we are so used to the other bikes.

same, at first i didnt like it but thats prob mostly because i was used to the old where you have unrealisticly god like grip. but now the more i play the more i enjoy this update then the old, this update gives a realistic feeling when you cant go in a corner at 100mph and somehow have f1 grip the whole turn like u could before. Like racing irl you drive on dirt you pretty much never have grip.....like its dirt it moves under ur wheel at all time its not a solid ground ur not supposed to have f1 grip on dirt. I enjoy this update more and more.

Coming from MX sim where you ALWAYS want to sit a lean forward on the turn, I was doing that in MX bikes and just washing constantly. It wasn't until I payed attention to Troys controller input and realized he was back leaning on the turns that I was able to get the turns right. On these OEM 19s the lean forward tech coming back feels so right. I've got maybe 400 hours in MX sim and 30 in MX bikes

at least with 18 you could lean either way and it was just down to what was faster. now you can only enter corners and ruts one way, leaning forward, or else you loop out or go otb with pibozo bounces.

I feel like there's always been seat bounce if you sit up the jump face then stand at the top of the jump you definitely can get a bit more launch off the face.

The thing is, if you’re not in the seat when you do a seat bounce, you AIN’T doing a seat bounce! By its very definition, the only way to seat bounce a bike is by going off a jump, WHILE SEATED. I thought that was blatantly obvious, as in, no need to mention it but if you stand up at the lip of a jump, you haven’t seat bounced said jump.

I love that u can come in hot slide into corner and then cut down on throttle. Feels great and creates cool battles you didn't have before. I feel like inside lines are going to be more useful now instead of just allways railing outside right behind someone

I really like the new bikes. It's harder to clear some obstacles on the 250s, but it's much more rewarding when you do. The front end is amazing in corners now-I've had no front-end folds so far. The sliding feels like a fair trade-off for that, to be honest. Also, leaning back on rough sections is key; it helps you absorb every bump. As for the meta, after testing all the 250s (without setups), my ranking is: KTM Kawasaki GasGas Honda The KTM is really fast and the only bike I managed to clear certain sections with. The Kawasaki was my main in version 0.18, so I might be a bit biased, but it rides really well. It's well-balanced, and the precision makes it easier to be quick. The GasGas and Honda felt slightly better than the others, but all the bikes work fine. Even stock, with good setups, all are viable.

I use the kx250f more than any bike as well.. feels a lot different in my opinion. Like underpowered type of different. Used to be able to hit some big lines on it now I can’t. Any tips?

@@IanG107 Yeah, I had the same feeling, but that seems to be the case with the 250s in general. My guess is that grip is now more dependent on weight transfer. Before, you could more or less just hit the throttle and get full power, but now you need to put weight on the wheel to get the best effect. This makes the suspension setup crucial for maximizing performance. My standard MX suspension setup for the Kawasaki, which was amazing in version 0.18, feels too soft in 0.19. I had to stiffen it slightly to gain more traction, and now I’m getting power comparable to other bikes. But yes, It’s definitely harder to clear some sections now, which i don't mind tbh. I’ve also experimented with the gear ratio a bit, and even small adjustments seem to make a difference.

If you lean in the beginning of the turn and almost middle of the turn go back to neutral position it will hook up. Sometimes you gotta be careful because it will hook alot and wheelie out of the turn. There is a fine line but when you find that fine line these bikes bark. Waaaaay better than the last bikes hands down.

definitely grabbing a little bit of rear brake helps the back end not act like a crack head. its gonna take some getting used to for sure. I just hope it doesnt ruin too many of the older tracks especially ones we've paid for.

There will be lap times from b18 that will never be broken because of b19. Forks are improving in whoops but back end is completely wild now…. More rear break and Pressure on the front end helps but why???? So backwards! Lean needs to be important but also needs to make sense compared to real life. Squaring up and cutting down 180s is arguably worse imo. This is not hate lol…. Love the game more than anyone but wth is happening!!

I’ve noticed the rear end is bouncey and had to up the rebound to around 15. Compression is 3 1/2 - 4. Everything else I’ve kept the same

Honourable mention to having a good consistent shock setting on the 19's, that helps a lot with keeping the rear tyre on the ground On the 18's i basically killed my rear shock so it felt completely dead, but that absolutely does not work with these new OEM's

it’s really all theory but if you sit to compress on the face of the jump stand at the lip while SLIGHTLY leaning forward to drive the rear down you can get a small bump.

I want to make sure when I added the update I didn’t delete anything I shouldn’t have (I deleted the old tyres file).
