The ladies tip is very helpful thank you for that! Once again to confirm, women can go to do salam in the same area as men do? As at the beginning you mentioned the women do not go in the area to do salam where the men are allowed? But at 12 midnight they can go in that area, the green carpet?
@HajjVlogger7 жыл бұрын
Change Your Water women can go in the Rowdah at set times (Fajr Zohar and Isha but best to confirm when you go as it may change). women cant go infront of the grave of the Prophet (saw). closest you will get will be in the Rowdah (Green Carpet which is Junnah) plz make dua for me when you go

Assalamualaikum wa rakhmutalllahi wa barakatuhu my brother. Just thought I'd let you know I got back from Umrah with my mother and grandmother two days ago. Just about recovered from the time adjustment and jet lag. Despite a lot of problems and the manners of certain people within the group and in and around Makkah and Madinah the whole experience was beautiful. Was able to do and see more than we expected. It was extremely busy. They shut off the second and third floor for tawaf and you had to do tawaf on the first floor near the Kaaba with all the fans switched off with wheelchair users all over the place. I think it's still like that because I watched Iqra TV just now and it still seems it's the only place open to do tawaf and all the fans are still off. It was hard because I had to take care of my mother and elderly grandma but fortunately Allah SWT rewarded our efforts by allowing us to touch Muqaame Ibrahim, touching the Kaaba which I didn't think would be possible for how busy it was and the fact I'm with two elderly women and we were able to get into the Hatim to pray. I'm surprised at the patience I was able to muster with some extremely rude people who have no respect for mothers, grandmothers or women in general. How someone in Ihram can touch a non Mahram woman is beyond me. People in Ihram smoking and blowing their smoke on others in Ihram is seriously puzzling and just outright rude. Line cutters. People who don't mind disregarding the elderly. Some really disgusting behaviour from a lot of people there. Just shocked me. Still, I kept my patience and every single time I was rewarded. For example I was waiting in line at Zain for a 10gb data sim for over an hour and some rude brothers thought it would be okay to cut in line. I said nothing and carried on. Two minutes later the Arab workers at Zain got up and told security to throw them out and saw how patiently I've been waiting and called me forward and gave me a data sim at a discounted price and said there's no need to produce a passport or provide fingerprint which wasn't the case when I got a normal sim to make and receive calls the previous day. Anyway all that aside bro the peace I got in Masjid Al Haram and Masjid Nabawi I'll never find anywhere else in the world. If I wasn't with my mother and grandmother I could have slept in Masjid Al Haram. The same people who would have no manners outside the Masjid once they are in the Masjid they are the same people handing out dates and trays of Zamzam. Because of your videos and my own research before going it felt like I already knew Makkah inside out. Madinah was peaceful and bigger than I expected but was fun to explore after Isha when I've fed my mother and grandmother. BTW I took my mum and grandma to gate number 25 at Masjid Nabawi after Fajr and it was apparently crazy with rude women trying to crush my mother and elderly grandmother and it took them close to 3 hrs. I'll take your wife's advice and pass it onto my mother and grandmother for the next time we go inshallah. I will never book with this organiser again. Straight up lied to me and others and was called out on his lies by many people in the group. A young lad from Sheffield who came with his mother had to be calmed down as he nearly came to blows with the organiser. He specifically was told as he requested he would get a room on a low floor for his elderly mother who is not well. Instead the guy tried to put him on the top floor whilst ill mannered young and healthy families were given the lower floors because they are always the first in the queue for room cards because of their extremely rude line cutting. He tried doing the same with me and my mother and grandmother but i just told him that if he wants to go back on his word that is fine and ill go and get another room somewhere else and I'll simply go my own way. He seemed to come to his senses and gave me a room we agreed upon before we even booked. Lots of people got lost, left behind and completely left in the dark with his constant last minute changes he was making. A lot of people couldn't even get on the plane home and had to stay behind for a day. I could hear the organiser trying to book a coach from Abu Dhabi to take us from Manchester to West Yorkshire. You're supposed to have a coach booked for the journey home before you even set off for Umrah. Despite all of that we were all able to do what we came for. So thank you my brother and I did pray for you and your family all throughout my journey for helping myself and others with these helpful Umrah and Hajj videos.

Anna Is Fit Jazakallah Khair my brother/sister. We've been rewarded enough by Allah SWT as we did what we set out to accomplish and more and were able to get back safely. I just thought I'd be honest, as I always am, about my experience so perhaps others can learn what to expect. Everyone is right when they tell you to have the utmost patience. The manners of individuals over there or the lack of I should say would be enough to push certain people over the edge but if you expected it and saw it coming before you even set off for Umrah I guess it could ease the blow a little. I just pray that the brothers and sisters out there learn that just like they have a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt etc others do too. I gave up my seat plenty of times for elderly women or women in general. I also gave them way and a wide berth out of respect and the fact I am not a Mahram to them and the fact I was in Ihram. You just can't expect others to do the same as I found out and you can't take it personally. There will also be beautiful moments which will overshadow and outweigh any negatives you may encounter for example when I left my mother and grandma to sit outside the Haram in Makkah whilst I went to get them food there were females from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Jordan who would just start talking to my mother and offer them food, tea and that Arabic coffee all whilst making conversation and saying beautiful things like "We're all from different parts of the world but we all come together as one in this holy city". I mean there were moments where I've just got back with food and my mother and grandmother have already had their fill thanks to the love of others so I just share the food with people nearby. Those are the moments you'll tend to remember more than the negatives. One more thing I should mention is you will encounter, as brother Irfan has mentioned, families from South Asia usually who give you salaam and stop you with the same story "We came to do Ziyaarah and one of our group member has lost our money" over and over again. I must have encountered them at least 40-50 times in Makkah and Madinah combined. Moreso in Madinah when I was waiting for my mother and grandmother outside gate 25. I could have said a lot to them but I ignored them. One woman played with my emotions though by showing me a baby on her shoulder crying so I gave her a few Riyals but the same woman kept at it and was there every day without fail. I don't want to play down the hardship of others but I honestly think it's become a business, a career even, for these people which is very wrong. Inshallah I'll be invited by Allah SWT to go again as we all miss Makkah and Madinah more than we expected we would. We're still watching all those live channels showing Makkah since we got back and I don't think that feeling will ever go away. Inshallah you and your loved ones will be invited to go too. I will end this by professing my love for Makkah and Madinah. I love Makkah and Madinah.

+Pikachu Walaykumasalam Warahamtullah my brother. Firstly Mubarak/congrats on the Umrah. Amazing to hear you went with your mother and grandmother. Very blessed. I pray to Allah the Most Merciful and the Most High that He accepts you and your families umrah and May He be pleased with you all. Ameen. I am very sorry to hear about your experience. I too witnessed a lot of stuff like that. Rudeness, smoking, pushing, shoving etc. Amazing to hear to kept yourself together and had sabr. Look how Allah works, you got served at zain and got a discount. Amazing. SubhanAllah. PEOPLE will always be people, some have great manners and some have very veryyy rude manners. I found this more in Makkah than Madina. It hurt me to see that, our brothers and sister are like that in the best place in the world. That is why I always say number 1 thing you will need is SABR! The peace in Masjid Nabwi and Masjid al haram is amazing. If we *try* and look past all the problem then the true peace and beauty is there. If we concentrate on the negative then we will waste our experience. Madina is awesome to explore after isha. This time around I got a change to go to places and masjids close to the haram which I never knew of. Inshaa Allah next time I venture out of the haram area to see the rest of the beautiful city. Shocking to hear about the organisers. I am hearing more and more stories. For some it is a business, for others it is a work for this life and the next. I can’t believe a lot of people in your group couldn’t get home! Please do feel free to name the company in the comments on my video as I don’t want the same experience for anyone. JazakAllah Khair for making dua for me and my family. I always appreciate it and appreciate your support. Please do share my videos with family and friends, inshaa Allah would help them. May Allah bless you. Ameen.

+HVtv/Hajj Vlogger Hajj/Umrah/Vlogs/Reviews (Hajj Vlogger) Thanks my brother. I still say despite all the negatives it was to date the best experience of our lives. We're already planning to go again at the end of the year inshallah. gktravel.co.uk/ That's the one my brother. GK Travels based in Bradford off Manningham Lane. Please avoid at all costs as I don't see them improving anytime soon and like I've said the organizer himself has no problem lying to your face in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah so not exactly someone you want to deal with period. I walked so far after Isha in Madinah once I ended up at an Arab version of Primark. Everything was 10 Riyals lol. I think I saw Masjid Abu Bakr to the south west of Masjid Nabawi but I'm not entirely sure. It was a small tiny masjid. The cleaners in green in Madinah are extremely helpful, well they were to me, always willing to help give directions and point things out. They wouldn't even take money sometimes instead asking for a drink from a bag full of drinks that I usually carried with me. Usually Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani brothers.

+Mustaq Islam Ws bro. Yeah it's not a pleasant feeling when you know these people are making a career out of begging and you know you can ignore them easily up to the point till one of them uses a child to play with your emotions and you just give in and hand over a few Riyals. The same woman with the child I later saw the very same day tapping the child on her shoulder like it was a signal and she immediately started crying. The tactics they use is extremely sly and well planned out. I mean if you're hungry, come, I'll feed you no problem. If you're thirsty, come, I'll buy you water no problem. It's not like that though. A lot refused the opportunity for me to buy them food and water and instead wanted the money. Just doesn't sound right but what can you do? Whatever money you give I'm sure your good intentions will be rewarded by Allah SWT but like brother Irfan mentioned in one of his earlier videos these people are scammers as much as I don't want to play down ones hardships there's no other way to describe them. You can walk to the run down areas in Makkah and Madinah and see the real poverty stricken people and not once will you get bothered there by anyone dropping the same stories about a member of their group losing their money whilst on Ziyarah. Lol for that reason I used to walk about with a couple of Mirinda drinks to hand out to people who asked for money. I still went home with more or less the same amount I bought. Big shout out to Mirinda btw! The drink tastes rank over here in the UK but in Saudi it's on point! Even the cans of Coke/Fanta couldn't compete with the taste of Mirinda over there lol.
