Thanks for this video. Even though it's over a year old....it still has lots of pertinent information in it. Quick question after watching this.......what should I prioritize???? DPS or survivability??? Because I am ready to try time mark 7....but my survival level is lower than the suggested level that the game says I should have to attempt timemark 7. Is it more important than DPS??? Thanks for the assist.

You're welcome. In general I wouldn't worry about DPS or Survival numbers, that display is wildly inaccurate. Instead you gotta just give content a shot. If it goes well you have enough dps and survival. If you're struggling, adjust based on what went wrong. Did you get 1-shot out of nowhere? Are enemies dying really slowly, etc.

I use your rehan build, and I'm really new to this kind of game, I'm near lvl 80 and i haven't done anything on my armors and weaps i mean i just wear the gear that i looted on the ground. Is it really necessary to buy items in the Trade house?what lvl of armors and weaps should i use? do i stick to low lvl but with good stats or buy new from the trade house?. please reply ,thanks

I'm really loving the game so far, and I've very much enjoyed your videos about it (i've watched them all), but I'm really struggling against what feels like the insurmountable hurdle of the over-inflated economy. I know you talked about this in one of your previous videos, and I understand that, to an extent, this happens in all games when you don't start day 1 with every one else, which I didn't. I'm just now starting to progress through t2 maps and I have so little crafting currency that even trying to make meaningful upgrades to my gear feels prohibitive. Having played PoE for thousands of hours and having talked to many, many new players to that game who felt similar to how I'm feeling now, I think it's probably just a knowledge gap and that as I play more, I'll start to better understand how to be more efficient, it's just feeling like a crap shoot right now. Sorry for the rant. Guess you give off counselor vibes lol. : /

I think the big difference with TLI vs PoE is that there's an auction house. Many poe players are so well insulated from the type of inflation caused by an AH that it can definitely be shocking to move to something else. This is then compounded by the fact that right now multiple items of similar rarity/power level have vastly differing costs because some are known/used and others are not. I expect there will be more inflation in TLI than PoE unless the trade house changes, but over time it will be more uniform across legendaries and less extreme.

@@Tenkiei This is what I'm hoping. I also spent an ungodly amount of my life on WoW so I'm all too familiar with the plight of an AH in games. There's something particularly accelerated about the rate at which prices are increasing in TLI that has me concerned, but that may well be just the massive influx of PoE refugees flooding the game atm. I'll continue playing and just allow myself to be more learning-focused for now, and then try to start right at the next league launch and see if my feelings change then. Thank you for the thoughtful response. :)

I'd like to say the others are just too weak, not that Moto is too powerful. It feels rewarding to play him. I don't have a Renah yet tho. Either way, I'd rather see the other characters brought up to Moto power levels than any nerfs.

@@LONlG I had started as Gemma and saw a lot of Renah/Moto against a few of Gemma/Carino/Youga and none of Thea. I even can't start to play as Thea or buy it. But see a lot of video of her builds...

Aura links work exactly the same as any other link, with the addition that you can also link skills to skills instead of supports to skills.

There is a cinder icon above the watcher if you haven't claimed its cinder yet.

Hey I know my question is not related to the video but I am trying to find an answer since couple of days now, and I am lost. How to mitigate the sealed mana problem? I cannot use my desired skills (auras, triggers, etc.) because of this sealed mana thing. Anyway to "unlock" it?

Various talents, and mods on items have -sealed mana which will allow you to use more auras/triggers.

@@retrogamesmaniac Talents aren't hero specific, it's the same talents as on any other character, for example Steel Vanguard offers a lot of -sealed mana.

I really noticed TLI is a slave to the meta more than some games. If you have bad damage with a niche skill, might be time to reroll. 100fe investment on a lvl 93 chain lightning selfcast, can't hit 20mil so basically gg shelved character. This is just my experience

That hasn't felt like the case at all for me. I had no issues reaching >100m dps on Icebound Laser.

@@Tenkiei Any reply here sounded argumentative, which is not what I was going for :/ If you can make CL Youga work, or see any on your server, I'd love to know. Otherwise, I didn't think it was that bad a suggestion to start out with a meta build. Guessing you didn't level your first character with laser?

@@Shadaux I leveled my first character with icy ring -> ring of blades didn't like how ring of blades felt with the hitboxes, rerolled shadow swamp/shot (at a time when nobody was playing it) and I guess since then it may have ended up becoming meta, then I tried a bunch of cold skills, and went from there. The item that comes to mind for chain lightning is Shadow of Thunderlight's Fury.

@@Tenkiei Oh for sure, I'm not saying don't play non-meta. Watched leaderboards since CBT2 and still tried this. Just saying if you feel like you're hitting a wall, you might not find a way around it without rerolling. Yep, this is a cbt2, bought back when I saw SoTLF in the trailer. Mine is a few % off perfect, with Mistaken Authority and Touch of Darksurge/End of Confusion gimmick. 45% crit, 4 casts/sec (doubled with trait), 30% paralyze, infinite mana, 45% pen, etc. Sry, not build advice, just showing I've put in the research :) but eventually you need that dps I just couldn't find
