How to graft over an existing apple tree

Today, we have the exciting opportunity to graft a new variety of apple onto an established tree! We are ading to our collection by grafting the Oratia Beauty apple variety onto an existing apple tree in the Heritage Food Crops Research Trust orchard. Mark Christensen will demonstrate two different methods for grafting: the rind (or bark) graft and the whip and tongue graft.
