This is similar to how I used to do it back in Europe. Leave the scales on and cook it on a bed of salt. Delicious. New sub here 👍

I tried some bass and Crappie like that last night. It was really good. Sad part is I'm figuring out cat fish is the only fish I don't mind cleaning. I love eating fish but not the work of cleaning.

Not real sure how my wife dose it but catfish is great on the grill as well. The first time she cooked bass on the grill I was shocked how good it was then she got me to try other fish as well. For years I thought salmon was the only fish good on the grill.

I’m so particular on removing red meat, I’m not sure what fish I catch that I could do this with but it definitely looks good!

I usually cut down in a angle on both edges of red meat on catfish making 4 filets on each fish then cut into chunks before frying. Other than that good seasoning and good cooking you will never tell the difference if it is gone or there. I have proved this to people in blindfold taste test.
