How do you dress the wheel more Coarse ? Do you just move the diamond Across the stone faster? What about the depth you feed the diamond in do you ever change the depth ever?

Yes you just move the diamond across the wheel faster. I usually only cut into the wheel 0.002"-0.003" or so. You have to grind alot slower with the wheel opened up. Or only good to rough a crank out then dress again slowly to finish it off.

How do you get the the taper out

There is adjustment on the right side (non drive side) that moves back and forth to adjust for taper. I usually put a long bar in and grind as close to chucks as I can and when you get the same size when grinding to the zero on hand wheel it should be fine.
