I always admired the mascot mules at the Army-Navy football game. They look so sharp and clean! I always assumed that their manes were bleached blond, but now I see that the guard hairs were trimmed.

I have never seen the mane done that way. Most people seem to shave it all the way down to the neck. This looks great.
