This is a classic plant and one of my favorites. I didn’t see it in the US for many years and now I have one again. When I was a kid I would grow them underwater in my planted Aquariums.

Oh great to know. I actually have two aquariums and belong to a few 'Aquaria groups' too, so will definitely give these ago. Do submerge all of the plant permanently like an Anubias?

@@gardeningwithgabriel6698 Yes. I would take a cutting and root it in water without submerging it completely because you don’t want soil in the tank. After it had roots and was strong i would submerge it completely. I remember it growing out of the aquarium eventually so I would make more plants from cuttings
