I had better results with no water changes or worry of mould. Cleaning skin & placing directly in soil, keeping moist, not soaking wet. Have tried both methods, definitely go with natural soil option, even though we quicken process by skinning. Fine, seedling soil is best but not a must. We like the thought of water option, we also get to see it sprout & think it is quicker but it's not 🙂

I let my seed soak in warm water for an hour or so, carefully nicked it with a knife, and peeled its skin. Going on almost 2 weeks and she's sprouting a root! Tho the method I did was putting it in a damp paper towel and left it outside in shade, but still having access to a lighter environment. Now I'm wondering if I should put her in water or soil (roots startin to curve upwards.)🤔
