Very nice presentation with useful tips. Thanks a lot. 👌👌👌👌👌💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹 Recently I purchased a well grown big sized blue berry plant online and kept the root ball in moist cocopeat in a plastic 8 inch pot. For many days I couldn't get time to pot it properly. The leaves got dried in some of the branches and tips of the shoot started getting browm in die back manner upto the healthy side branches. At this stage, in fear, I pot it in a light well draining mix of plain garden soil+cocopeat+little rice husk+cow dung manure mix. Didn't add any antifungal. Watered it thoroughly. The plant remained stable without showing any new growth. Today on 04th of May 2023, after a week or so of potting the plant, I can see the plant is dull but the leaves are still upright and green , not flaccid, no new growth and some of the tips of the branches again getting brown. Main stem is not seen as embedded in the root ball as received but the main branches from the stem are still healthy. HOW CAN I RESCUE THIS COSTLY PLANT ? PLEASE GUIDE.

Is there a disadvantage to not cold-stratifying the seeds?? Some people do and some don't.... I'm just curious
@centripetal61572 жыл бұрын
Cold treating the seeds for 2 - 3 months will ensure that the amount of seeds that begin to grow is much larger. If you directly plant blueberry seeds into soil you will get 2 or 3 plants growing. With cold stratification you will get 20 - 30 plants

Yes, acidic soil is on the market, you can add coffee grounds, also chelated sulfur (sulfate), ph balance of the soil need to be around 4.5-5.0 the other end is alkaline with a ph balance of 7.5 or higher, I believe. Pine bark or composted pine needles too.
