Good idea. Except you dont say what was the white stuff you sprinkled on the kitchen scraps prior to putting back the soil on it.??? Its important to list every item you used and the steps in order to be very helpful, if that is your goal.

Omg how brilliant! I am going to integrate the IV tubing idea to my garden. I was worry about watering the plants and making sure to keep them nicely hydrated, because I know I will be busy from time to time and this is a brilliant idea! Thank you for sharing the process! For those wondering what the white stuff added to the compost is it is most likely lime. Lime can raise the pH making it less acidic. There are different schools of thought on whether this is necessary or not. I personally don't think it is, but I'm just a casual gardener so I may be wrong. It may help keep critters from digging up the scraps, though.

Lots of people use fish heads or fish emulsion( fish poo) but most people put it in the soil under the plant at time of planting.

My friend see that they are using regular clear plastic cups that are standard size as well as you could use any corrugated material about approximately 6 in tall according to the video without any description but an estimate in a square size of your own dimensional wanting along with some soil added mixed in with the Earth soil. Simply drawing the seats first to know that you have the plant growing then you transplant your little guarding that has been built up from this video clear instructions without words.

Did this for a few years now works good . I use a cattle panel with 4 plants in 5 gallon buckets at corners. Did 6 first year. Plants were crowded.

Use Biet Alpha cucumbers. Self pollinating, they produce the most perfect cucumbers I've EVER grown and I've been doing this for a loooong time.

Likely some form of compost accelerator to help break it down faster. Compost can be made without it (add about 75% kitchen scraps to 25% dry leaves / sawdust etc), just breaks down slower.
