90 days is too old for Napier grass. The only nutrition left is lignin & will be very high in crude fibre, which has low palatability to ruminant. Our practice is to cut 36-45 days, so that crude protein, sugar content & metabolical energy level is higher for cows

Remember this was 90 days after the the 2 node cuttings were planted. After 33 days there will simply not be enough matter to harvest. Once the plants are established, second harvest, I agree that you should harvest on 33 day cycles
