✅Take lemon with seed. Then take a pot with hole. Use tea leaves for germination of seeds. Water the seeds well after planting. Keep the pot at medium temperature. Water three to four times a week before germination. Water every day after germination. It takes 8 to 12 days to germinate from seed. After 30 to 40 days, when they are mature, transplant them in a separate container. I have used 50% soil and 50% organic manure in pots for final place planting. I did it in the summer season. Summer season is best for grow to lemon tree from seeds.

I grew my lemon and apple trees from seeds 6 years ago. Apple tree is about 5 feet, and lemon is 4 feet long now. But no flowering or fruit yet. They need to be grafted, I was told.
@ShafikulGarden
@ShafikulGarden 9 ай бұрын
It is not uncommon for apple and lemon trees grown from seed to take several years to flower and fruit, especially if they are not grafted. Grafting is a process of combining two plants together to create a single plant. The upper part of the grafted plant is called the scion, and the lower part is called the rootstock. The scion is the part that will produce the fruit, while the rootstock provides the root system and support. Grafting has several advantages over growing trees from seed: Grafted trees typically flower and fruit sooner than trees grown from seed. Grafted trees are more likely to produce fruit that is true to type, meaning that the fruit will resemble the fruit of the parent tree. Grafted trees are often more resistant to pests and diseases than trees grown from seed. If you are concerned about the lack of flowering and fruiting on your apple and lemon trees, you may want to consider grafting them. However, grafting can be a delicate process, and it is best to have it done by a professional. Here are some other things you can do to encourage your apple and lemon trees to flower and fruit: Make sure the trees are getting enough sunlight. Apple and lemon trees need at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. Fertilize the trees regularly with a balanced fertilizer. Water the trees regularly, especially during hot, dry weather. Mulch around the trees to help retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune the trees regularly to encourage new growth and fruit production. With a little patience and care, your apple and lemon trees should eventually begin to flower and fruit.

Hello, Good afternoon. It's not entirely accurate that a pomegranate tree grown from seeds won't bear fruit at all, but it's less likely and takes longer than a tree grown from cuttings. Seed-grown pomegranate trees: These may take 5 -7 years to fruit, whereas a cutting from a mature tree can fruit in 2-3 years.

Tea leaves have been known to help improve the soil's ability to absorb and retain moisture, which is why many pro gardeners burry tea leaves around the roots of their plants. When your plants are able to retain more water, this means you don't have to worry about watering them as frequency

@ShafikulGarden
@ShafikulGarden 9 ай бұрын
If you are planting lemon seeds indoors, place the pot in a south-facing window where it will receive the most sunlight. You may also need to supplement the sunlight with a grow light, especially during the winter months. If you are planting lemon seeds outdoors, choose a location that receives full sun. The soil should be well-drained and amended with compost or other organic matter.

@ShafikulGarden
@ShafikulGarden 7 ай бұрын
Lemon trees grown from seeds typically take longer to flower and fruit than grafted trees, often 5 to 7 years, sometimes even longer. So, there's no need to worry just yet! There are a few possible reasons why your lemon trees haven't flowered yet, but with a little patience and care, they should eventually produce those delicious lemons. Here are some of the most common reasons why lemon trees from seeds don't flower: Age: As mentioned above, seed-grown lemon trees simply take longer to mature than grafted trees. Be patient and give them some more time. Sunlight: Lemons need plenty of full sun, at least 6 to 8 hours per day, to flower and fruit. If your trees are in too much shade, they may not produce blossoms. Nutrients: Lemon trees need the right balance of nutrients to flower and fruit. Too much nitrogen fertilizer can actually inhibit flowering. Make sure you're using a fertilizer that is specifically formulated for citrus trees. Citrus tree fertilizer Watering: Both underwatering and overwatering can stress a lemon tree and prevent it from flowering. Water your trees deeply and evenly, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Stress: Lemon trees can be stressed by a variety of factors, such as pests, diseases, transplanting, or rootboundness. If your trees are stressed, they may not flower. With a little extra care and attention, your lemon trees should eventually flower and fruit. In the meantime, enjoy watching them grow! Prune your trees lightly in late winter or early spring. This will help to encourage new growth and flower buds.

@ShafikulGarden
@ShafikulGarden Жыл бұрын
After sowing seed, keep the pot away from direct sunlight. The best month for seeding a lemon plant is in the spring, when the weather is warm and the soil is moist. They can be grown indoors or outdoors, but they will produce more fruit if they are planted outdoors in a warm climate.

Can we grow lemon from seeds of Chinese lemon and in which month
@ShafikulGarden
@ShafikulGarden 6 ай бұрын
Yes, you can absolutely grow lemon tree from seeds of a Chinese lemon (Citrus jambhiri)! It's a fun and rewarding experience, and it's actually quite easy to do. Here's a quick guide on how to get started: 1. Choosing your seeds: Select a ripe Chinese lemon. Look for one with plump, juicy fruits and healthy-looking seeds. Carefully extract the seeds from the lemon. Try to remove as much of the pulp as possible, as this can inhibit germination. Rinse the seeds gently with water. 2. Germinating the seeds: Direct sowing method: Fill a small pot with a well-draining potting mix. Make a hole in the soil about an inch deep and plant the seed, pointy end down. Cover the seed with soil and water gently. Keep the soil moist but not soggy. Place the pot in a warm, sunny location. 3. Planting the seedlings: Once the seedlings have developed a few leaves, you can transplant them into individual pots. Choose pots that are slightly larger than the root ball. Use a well-draining potting mix and make sure the pots have drainage holes. Water the seedlings regularly, but be careful not to overwater them. Place the pots in a sunny location, ideally where they will receive at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day. Fertilize the trees lightly once a month during the growing season. 4. Be patient: It can take several years for a lemon tree grown from seed to produce fruit. Don't be discouraged if it takes a while! With proper care, your lemon tree will eventually reward you with delicious homegrown lemons. Best time to plant: The best time to plant lemon seeds is in the spring, when the weather is warm and there is plenty of sunlight. However, you can also plant them in the summer or early fall if you live in a warm climate.
