I brought some seeds from Chicago where my mother grew them for years. They didn’t take in San Antonio, too hot then one time I 😢found some seeds and planted them in October and it took off,😢 so I guess it likes cold weather. Unfortunately the big leaves it produced kept sun from getting to the root in the middle so it died, trying again this spring of 23. Thanks for the info mine are the white flower ones. I think God my neighbor ran and told me they weren’t weeds when they were growing they look beautiful in a clear vase. I have two big vases on my mantle sides, and they look great.

That plant you showed as a money plant isn't Lunaria, it's a Chinese Money Plant.

Plants that are bianual doesn t mean that they only flower once every two years, it means that they dont flower in the year that you seed them.

they do look like silver dollars - once dry and the outer layers are peeled off...
