Marigolds are the easiest things to grow. My dad taught me to grow them when I was a little girl. I collected the seeds from the dead flowers and kept replanting new flowers from them. 🌼🌼🌼

After you planted the seeds and watered them ..did you leave them outside or did you take them inside to allow them to sprout.....and after the seeds began to sprout if I leave my newly grown seedlings outside do I have to worry about bugs preventing them from growing or killing them.
@aquaseahorselove39393 жыл бұрын
@@livehowyouwanttoo When I was younger we had a farm, so I had lots of space to grow in the ground. Dad gave me one little section that was mine that I planted hundreds of marigolds in. I would simply rake the soil, sprinkle hundreds of seeds, then rake back over them a little so a thin layer of soil would cover them. Mist lightly to water and they will just pop up by themselves so easy. Depending on where you live and what kind of predators you have, you may want to protect them from rabbits and such by putting some fencing around them, but we never had any problems. At the moment I am container gardening so I start my seeds inside, then transfer them to bigger containers outside.
@livehowyouwanttoo3 жыл бұрын
@@aquaseahorselove3939 that's so sweet that you're dad gave you your own section to grow your flowers.....lol reminds me of my dad we had a two story two family house and my dad gave me the entire upstairs it made me appreciate being a home owner...to this day I'd have a hard time staying in someone else's property......Thank you for sharing ..... I've planted them in containers an covered the containers with plastic I'm hoping they'll do well.... planting was a lot of fun but the wait has been torture for me.
