How fortunate you are to be able to grow all these wonderful exotic flowers, to own a garden like yours would be my idea of heaven! I’m hoping my pink jasmine has survived this winter here in England, I’ve covered it well with fleece, so fingers crossed! Always look forward to seeing new and refer back to your older videos Joy.

Paul B did your jasmine survive?

Please let us know if it survived! I’ve bought some, but I’m not in the right zones I’d like to know if the fleece worked.

Hey :) so I have this exact jasmin here in the UK in the south east. Growing up a tree. I wrap it as soon as temperatures get below freezing if its above zero it does fine. It stays evergreen under the fleece and does really well. If we are going to have a milder sunny week I will unwrap it and then re wrap when the temperature dips again. Last year I left it too late and we had -5 for a few nights in a row. It died back almost completely but re grew from the base in spring and now its about 4ft tall and looking healthy. 😊

Thanks for the info on Pink Jasmine. One thing I am looking for is a CLOSE UP SHOT of how to actually prune a pink jasmine. I have looked all over the internet and it seems your videos always dominate my search for this topic. However, I need to see that close shot of where to prune. I find your video lacking in this area and there are many newbies that have no clue where to trim or what dead heading is. Please, please help!!! Don't just tell us…show us exactly what to do. Close detailed shots are badly needed throughout the gardening communities videos. So get that camera in there for a BCU.

Now, I need to prune back very long established Jasmine. It has grown up eight feet or more. An intertwined with my handrail. How far back can I cut it and have it remain healthy? Please help because I want to make sure that I do it correctly. Thanks for your input.

I think the heat is the problem, but don't know. I would like to find a pink jasmine bush. I can't find one. I had one but it died in a heavy rainstorm, drown.

We have planted 4 small P.Js on cinderblock wall facing south in the Phoenix area. Our plan was to use 100lb filament fishing line to create a grid of 18" squares against the block wall. We thought this would allow P.J.s to twine around the line and extend the plant to the end of the wall area we want to cover. We were told this was one of the best vines for ALL DAY direct, unshaded sun exposure. We are concerned that this may not be the plant now. (we already planted it... today ) The information on the plant says it can take 6Hours + of sun. This area is the hottest area in our yard. Should we move these plants? If not these plants, can you suggest other flowering vines that will give full coverage and can take full day hot sun, other than Bouganvillea? Thanks for your help.

Hi, I've posted a doubt about my Pinky Jasmine yesterday. The flowers are getting yellow and dying rapidly, could it be too much water? Too much sun? They are in vases on my balcony full sun all day long, watering 2 times a week (15 inchs high each). Can someone help me?

I love how beautiful it looks but the smell!!! Once it start opening, it's so strong and a very strong hint of cat pee! I live in Zone 5 and I can't take it outside. I grew up in Philippines and I thought that this have the same smell of the jasmine that I grew up (sampaguita) but this one is totally the opposite.

Are you giving your jasmine enough water? Give him/her a really good soak and keep her out of dry winds. Is your jasmine in a pot or the ground?
