I kept a few Kennebec and Superior spuds over the winter, about the size of an extra-large egg. They’ve been in the ground a couple of weeks. I also bought a bag of Red Norland seed potatoes, but I had too many and gave some to a neighbor. In one bed I grew winter rye as a green manure. I just cut that down and put the potatoes on top, with leaves over everything.

It's nice hearing about the surroundings Steve. Gardens presented in situ are a way for me to learn about different growing conditions and make the vids interesting. I want to hear about the birds and insects that are attracted to certain plantings and what the weather is like at the time we are seeing. Information would be sterile without the surroundings to add color.
