We're glad we inspired you to start growing healthy food indoors! In addition to the KZbin channel, we have written a book titled "Grow Lettuce in Your Living Room" which is available on our website www. happyleafled.com Unfortunately, on Amazon, you are likely to find fake pirate copies of the book.

Do have a video for growing lettuce (romaine) indoors?
@HappyLeafLEDGrowLights4 ай бұрын
We don't have a specific video on Romaine lettuce (yet) , but we do grow all of our lettuces and herbs with the Kratky Method - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmO0faB6p7SCoacsi=V5BHrThXiDNn8mwC . Thanks for your question!

Does this method apply to collards aswell
@HappyLeafLEDGrowLights4 ай бұрын
Yes, it will! If you are interested in a soil-free indoor option for collard greens, we have a video on that as well - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpapq2lplJiskM0si=H0AnxlxBWyU3dHqE

Yes. Collards can be grown the same way. Vic

Great video. I've always striggled getting spinach to germinate. Not sure why you're giving seeds plant food. Seeds have enough nutrients for seedlings for the first 2-3 weeks. I've used Barinna daylight spectrum LEDs with microgreens for two years now as they are super bright amd give gorgeous greens. I no longer use the LED system I got from a KZbin microgreen grower as those didn't give me nearly the quality of greens. Plus the Barinnas can be daisy chained together, where I'll be taking advantage of that out in the greenhouse this time of year. I'm nitpicking. Overall excellent video. Thank you.

Since it doesn't hurt anything to start with nutrients we are trying to give people the steps up front so they can be successful ;)

Most people don't live in houses so they can't grow spinach because they live in apartments and it's too warm so that's out of the question you have any other suggestions😂
@victorzaderej16184 ай бұрын
When you say too warm in your apartment, anything in the 70-80 degree range is fine. Give it a try.

Thank you for your comment! After reviewing that part of the video, we agree that we should have been clearer. Generally, average household temperatures are perfectly fine for growing spinach. The problem arises when temperatures are consistently 85°F or higher.
