So how what's the coldest Dahlias can survive in-ground? I'm in the desert zone 9a and we never get freezes here under the mid 20s and often it doesn't get that cold. Would that be too cold to leave them in-ground?

Hi, I'm in S. Florida, zone 10 - Looked up Dahlia Crazy & Dahlia Society but neither has Florida resources. Is there is any resource or tips for growing here?

Growing in zone 5, I am already growing tomatoes and peppers from seed in Epic 6 cell using heat mats and grow light. I grew a 6 cell of Botanical Interest dahlia seeds alongside the tomatoes using the exact same process and got lots of beautiful flowers. I have never had luck with tubers :( so stopped trying.
