A very lovely bloom. But there's always that bit of disappointment when you research a plant and everything says "fragrant" or "highly fragrant" and you get nothing from the blooms. My recent disappointment there is Dendrobium maccarthiae. Supposed to be fragrant of roses and mine have absolutely no fragrance at all. While I'm disappointed by that, no chance I'll get rid of it. I do need to remember to pollinate a couple blooms so I can have them flasked since it is such a rarity.
