I think a lot of people miss the context of the situation. As someone who speaks a second language myself, I can clearly see that they are laughing because they understand the struggle of having to speak fluently outside of your mother tongue. They are also probably not used to him speaking in English so it's probably quite humorous. They are probably know the feeling of having to speak in English - so in a way, you can say are in essence, laughing with him. Please give them a break lol.

Im sorry but I truffle hunt in the uk ,and find many kg throughout the winter mounts.Thoughs last few truffles you dug up were planted before hand .They never come out the ground that easy and the soil was too loose ,good try .But all in all very informative if you can understand and are interested in this subject.

For those who ask why they laugh at him, I'll give a simple and easy explanation! In many people in countries that don't have English as their mother tongue it's usually funny to see a person (especially older generations) speaking English! And we laugh amongst ourselves and fucking around with our mates on how terrible their English is!
