Great interview. Just a few recommendations: 1. During the edit cut out the dead space. It was really awkward and at times made me want to click away. 2. While interviewing at times you both seemed a bit disinterested and at times flat. I hate how this may sound mean but I really care about KZbin and trying to pass along anything helpful. Loved it and keep going!!

Thanks Stephen, really value your feedback. Well cut out those pauses for the next one 💯 We were trying to not cut each other off because of the delay but I guess that can come off as disinterested, although I assure you it’s not that 😊😊 we’re SUPER stoked to have Anthony on and hope this brought value to you 🙏🏼

Great interview! Quick question: Why are you (and many current creators) holding a bulky mic? I'm sure it's deliberate, but I'm curious why. Cheers!
@awakeabroadmedia5 ай бұрын
Good question! It’s called a “Dynamic Microphone” and the reason we use it is because it has a very nice tone for voice recording. It’s also not very sensitive, meaning it’s great for conversations as it only pick up sound near it, in front of it specifically, and blocks out noise around it. But you gotta hold it close to your face :) If you want to learn more I have the link in the description, and I’m happy to make a video on this topic!

The mindset! Still processing...

Interesting how he is doing and pushing towards something he doesn't like. He said he hates reels and short term yet he is working towards hitting a target of 1000 days straight of posting short term content. How does the average person starting a brand take action. Learn from example? Or do what they say, not what they do ?
@seblophoto5 ай бұрын
Thats such a good question. I think he knows the value of posting in order to grow a brand, so its an essential part although maybe not enjyable for some. But its clear that his main driver is KZbin. For someone starting a brand, the best action is simply to post more content, as much as possible as frequently as possible, to expedite the process.

I would think it's because he understands the benefit of posting for a 1000 days straight and the impact it can have on his business. Sometimes as entrepreneurs, no matter what niche we are in, have to do things we don't particularly enjoy but know it can be good for business. For example, I don't consider myself the best graphic designer, but I know the importance of creating good, catchy thumbnails. Similarly, I don't think I'm the best copywriter, but I know that writing a newsletter at least once a week has an immense benefit for our business. That's my take on it. As for your question, you can learn from example of what someone else is doing, but you being a unique person with your own interests and your own niche, I would take what he says as "principles" or "guidelines" to follow, but not necessarily do exactly as he does. Thoughts?
