great tutorial, i duplicate main vocal, do first 3 steps (no distortion) + reduce voicing to 0 and blend growl to taste to the main vocal to generate some rasp. Currently experimenting with just vowels (all consonants removed) + lower gender and tone shift

Thanks for your watching. My first suggestion is to try defferent types of distortion plugins. I noticed RAT distortion type plugin is suited for my style in my experiments. If you can't generate the voices you want after you change some plugins, There is no way to rewite pitch curves again or re-apply the growl-script in deferent parameters. I know it is hard scenario for you. Perhaps it is most hard work to rewrite pitch curves. You would be better to save the .spv file before you apply growl script. Please note that script's parameters are very important. My general setting is "Growl Depth" = 300, "Pitch frequency 1/N" = 500 or 1000. Exactly, it seems to be easy in 3 minutes video. But I had so hard work actually, I strugged with uncountable experiments for 3 monthes to comfirm my method to generate growl voices like Alissa White-Gruz with SynthV application. I hope this video could help that you can get good results.

What are your settings on the script?

Thanks for your asking. It is very important to set the parameters corectlly. My basic settings are Growl Depth = 300, Pitch frequemcy = 500 or 1,000. I wrote my default pitch frequency at 500 on the script. But sometimes frequency = 500 is generating strange voice. If I think generated voice had strange and uncomfortabele part, I rewrite the pitch curve of the part. And then, apply the script again at frequency = 1,000. Off course it takes little bit long times retry writing curves and apply the script again, I'm doing so. Because I can't find another way to retry easy.

Yes, another voice data (SynthV singer) could sing with growl voice. For example, I tried another voices, Rose AI, Mai AI could sing with growl voices. Note that if original voice data has cute type voice, the growl voice is like child's growl voice.
