How do I run john the ripper? It just doesn't run. Either that or I have to put in specific command prompts or something. I haven't found any guide that will show me how to do it.

Hashcat uses GPU more than CPU, so technically it can be faster depending on your system/config. JTR is kind of like the Toyota, reliable, not flashy, but always works. HC is like a Tesla.....

@@NNAdmin That's what I figured, thank you for answering. I have a mini PC (integrated graphics card) so I don't think hashcat is the best option for me then. Also, I like your voice man, very interesting sounding
