Really love this video, I’m a Halloween nut and I’ve been trying to explain to my mom the lighting and she wasn’t getting it until I showed her this!

What are the lights you are using around 10:30? The green and purple ones?
@menaceproductions Жыл бұрын
Those are the “stage/DJ lighting” specifically the Chauvet Slimpar LED DMX lights

@@menaceproductions awesome thanks a lot! What did those run you? Did you get them on Amazon?
@menaceproductions Жыл бұрын
@@tracemiller1519 it depends on the size, they have small medium and large as well as “DJ versions” and “pro stage versions” I explain it more in this video but the DJ ones are between $70-$300 and the pro stage ones are between $400-$2000. I’d recommend going on sweetwater, PSSL and or Chauvets website to compare prices and styles, if you know what you want Amazon is also an optio

I'm looking for a 'smart' light/powersource (standard plugs) I can plug my lights into that I can program to change/on/off/fade out slowly so I don't have all the lights on all the time with too much light going on. Do you know of such a product that I could program with an app on my iPhone?
@menaceproductions6 ай бұрын
Its hard to find a light with standard plug that can be programed. Some of the GE sync, Hue, Govee might have pre-fixed settings in their apps (most will let you set and program but not to auto change). you could also try something like light-o-rama to plug lights into a program but not sure if they have a mobile app. Gantom lighting is another but sadly they dont have standard plugs

What's lights are in the pumpkins?
@menaceproductions2 жыл бұрын
The pumpkins on top of the cemetery columns are rechargeable LED flame lights 👏🏻

Do you have a. Esi on solar powered and batery powered things
@menaceproductions Жыл бұрын
I have a few solar powered flame lights I put in pumpkins at home but that’s about it. Wired and powered things I find are more reliable especially when the weather gets colder.

One brand for a tip that is an awesome medium between all of these lights. LIFX this company makes the best of everything on this list. Functionality, blue tooth, RGB and very bright. Price Point about $30 up to $120 for floods that are weatherproof.

Can I email you on some ideas as I’m looking to light up vertically. Black lighting for tiered scenes I’m finding it difficult 2nd 3rd and top tier( 28-32ft) high with out staging 150w-300w black light arrays on each tier.
@menaceproductions Жыл бұрын
That sounds like a tricky one, usually you’ll need to look at the pro series of a lot of those stage lights either in a spot or flood form to reach that length. Happy to brainstorm but not sure if my experience can help with that 😅
