Hey, electrician here, highly recommend putting some staples on the wire underneath the foundation of the house, especially if your having some animals walk around under there. Not only does it keep queen and pog boy safe but it also keeps the wire from fraying and getting damaged in the future. Much love uncle Ben.

I'm glad to see that the Urban Rescue Ranch (URR) anime is following the manga so well, especially Kevin's arc. Even though in the manga Coyote had like eight issues where he teaches Kanye inner peace before he leaves, I can see why the showrunners shortened it for TV. Their relationship was so much deeper in the manga, though. It explains why Kanye kept showing up around the coyotes: probably the writers just wanted to nod toward the original series. And yeah, Big Ounce dies a lot in the manga too, but he always comes back. 10/10 for faithful interpretation.

When I was a child, we found a coyote pup under our deck...he had been hit by a car, but because we were in a rural cul-de-sac, he survived. My grandfather and I brought him to the vets, and we got him fixed up as my grandfather had a license needed to keep injured wildlife that couldn't be rehabilitated (he had a pet crow and a pet opossum and a pet skunk before I was born). We ended up keeping him, because he was so small and weak that he would need bottle feeding, and he had a super bad limp that would've made it impossible for him to hunt to feed himself. His fur was very reddish, and we named him Baron. Baron could sit on command, and play fetch, and lay down on command. That is literally all we taught him, he ate a fully raw meat diet, and he lived with us for four years. Sadly, Baron's story has an unhappy ending. I was playing with him in the front yard one day, and our new neighbor, an off-duty police officer, didn't know he was safe for me to be around, so when he saw Baron running at me, an at-the-time ten-year-old, he dispatched Baron as a threat/pest animal. Nothing will ever make me forget seeing what to me was my dog being taken out so quickly and without question. Rest in Peace, Baron. You were the best behaved coyote I ever had the pleasure to know.

Hello, my name is Linda and I'm a 64 yr old 85 lbs older lady that LOVES ANIMALS OF ALL KINDS. I just happened to find you here on KZbin. What a great group of young men you and your buddies are. So I'm now following you. We live in Illinois but only a few minutes from downtown St Louis, MO just across the river from the big city. We live outside of our small town. We have not one, but two totally separate packs of coyotes in our area. The one pack seldom gets too close to any of the 20 or so homes out here. The other pack does and quite frequently do hunt right on the other side of the security fence. Why? Because deer are always coming to this area because of a pond out there and they come to drink from it . The leader of this pack, just happens to be an older female. Now, I don't know how she got injured & I'll likely never learn, but she was in pretty bad shape and not healing well. This only seemed to become worse as a few weeks passed. It got to the point that I feared that another of her group were going to try taking her out so it could become the new leader of their pack. I'm sure she was aware of this too. I could tell in how she'd started keeping a much closer eye on the entire pack. So one day I saw them hunting out in the field just on the other side of the large fence that separates our homes from their hunting grounds. She appeared to be growing worse than the last time we'd seen her. Over the past 18 months or so I'd see her watching me when I'd or my husband would be doing work in our garden, out in our back yard. She'd just sit and watch me and every move I'd make. So I could see that something had taken a large chunk out of her back right haunch and even from a distance, it looked terrible and infected to boot, all thru just using my nocs and from at least a hundred feet away. If it looked that bad from that distance, I really wanted to see it up close, but what to do was a second thought I'd had to try and figure out where/what to do from there. SOOOOO, it appeared to only be growing worse. I'd started speaking very gently to her, thru the fence from a distance, trying to let her know I wasn't there to hurt her. I also was watching how her pack hung back when she'd approach the fence and they were I believe sizing up the entire situation before making their move.. So early one morning, after going out to see if anyone was out on the other side of this fence. As soon as she saw me, she slowly started making her way over to get closer to this dence. This was the break I was waiting for I slowly told her good morning and stick around, I'd be right back. So I came inside and gathered some medical supplies. A squirt bottle full of sterile water, another just in case of the same thing, a squirt bottle filled with alcohol, a large pk of sterile gauze and last but not least, an opened tube of Neosporin. I also grabbed my HUBBY'S leather work gloves and a handful of sterile rubber gloves. Oh & I also stuck a small portable water bowl and a handful of treats we give out dog Edgar we were still using for training purposes to him and stuck a handful of them too, in my overall pockets. By this point in time she'd lost more weight and besides being hurt, was slowly starving to death. I sat in the ground and started speaking to her using a few treats to try and entice her to come to me on the other side of the fence from her. Plus I offered her fresh clean water to drink. After almost thirty mins, I'd finally got her to trust me. At least enough to come directly to the fence section where I was still sitting on the ground. As she got closer to me, I could SMELL IT, THE INFECTION. If it didn't have gangrene, I knew it would be very soon and she would have it. First I just squirted a few spays from the water bottle so she could see it was nothing to be scared of. After gaining a bit more trust, I started trying to spray as much sterile water on her as I could. Then I gave her several treats and as she ate them I doused it with the alcohol. I KNOW THAT HAD TO BURN but she was a real trooper and other than a few whines, she allowed it. After that step was accomplished, I pulled a rubber glove over one of the leather gloves I'd put on before starting all this and she actually turned her entire body to make covering her wound with a whole bunch of the antibiotic cream. Oh and after she'd let me start doing anything but after I'd smelled it I'd sent my hubby in to grab a couple of capsules of amoxicillin & bring them to me. After I was almost done, I took one capsule and stuffed it inside hopeful that she'd just gobble gobble swallow swallow, which she did. The second capsule I then pulled apart and gently rubbed it thru the Neosporin and directly into her wound. Once I'd completed my job, I gently patted her head and told her to be safe out there. As this was going on her pack had been slowly been flanking both her and I. I've a pretty good idea on their plan, but only minutes after receiving treatment, she was already starting to feel better. Just that quickly. She snarled at them and they immediately began to mind their manners. She still comes around every few weeks or so. If I happen to be in yard or just sitting on the deck, she comes to the fence and just stares at me. Never a I'd like to bite or eat you look. What I've now seen several times is nothing short of gratitude in her eyes, body language and her tail wagging. Her way I'm assuming of saying thank you strange lady, thank you. That other pack of which I spoke are always going over or under or perhaps even a hole we don't know about and trying to catch folks down Here's pets or chickens. She, on the other hand does not allow her pack to come over to this side, regardless the reason. Just wanted to share my own coyotes story with you & your members. And say TYVM for having such an amazing KZbin page. Now that I'm following ya, you'll NEVER get rid of me. No, I'm not crazy or a stalker, just an older lady that loves all God's animals, big and small. I find your page funny and informative both. Keep up the great work. You'll be hearing from me again at some point. Until then, have a blessed week and in finally shutting up, FINALLY, LMBO, later gators!!!🧓💛😂🤗😁☺️😆🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤗😁☺️💛💛💛🙂😆😂🤣😂😁🤗😁☺️💛

It was wounded, thirsty and cornered, and decided to exhibit signs of submission as it had nowhere to go; fundamentally communicating like a dog. If you attacked it in that moment, it may fight for its life. Many species of animals allow losers to retreat if they win whilst contending for territory or mating, and part of that exchange is signalling when you've had enough; many animals don't kill each other casually.

@@Its_Me_Romano Oh don't get me wrong, i have no love for coyotes after seeing the stuff they do in many a video. I was more aiming at how incredibly lucky that coyote is to get out of there alive solely because it invaded the right man's ranch.
