OMGoodness - everything. I had no idea you were supposed to twist them. Also do you have to cross them like that or can you use on one side? I loved the video. I am a newbie and this was such great info.

I wasn’t able to tell how the cross lacing worked. I have a Kromski Sonata, but I have had a lot of problems with it.

Hi Color of Hope Crafts! I show a picture at 1:58 and talk about cross lacing at 3:38 or so. Basically, load your bobbin as you normally would do. Now, which ever hook your single is around to load the bobbin, you will follow that thread. Unwind the bobbin slightly, so you can pull the single to the hooks on the other side. Allow the single to rest there. The boo in will now load onto the bobbin from there, and you have cross laced. Take a look at the time stamps I mentioned again in pause to see if what I have described makes sense!

Hi, good video, thanks! Have you tried double drive wheels? It would be perfect if you could compare double and single drive wheels; how they differ in practice. You seem to be a good teacher :).

Hi Paudeli1! Thank you for you kind words. I have not tried a double drive myself, but I have been looking for a resource so I might try one out. I will work on a video to show the differences. Are you a spinner or interested in learning?

@@RogueFibers I'm still a novice spinner but haven't spun lately. I have new Scotch tension spinning wheel with double treadle - practiced only about 1-2 hours.
