***** One of their writers (who's also one of their editors I believe) published an article about the TCA's and how they felt old for not knowing any of the people there. It was basically disrespecting KZbinrs and everything they've done and accomplished. Then that person had the audacity to go on Twitter and say that that article was all sarcasm, which it obviously wasn't. Then E!'s Twitter said 'Remember that time we gave a KZbin star their own show?' which just added so much disrespect. Then Grace retweeted it saying 'This is embarrassing', because it was. E! Need to get their shit together.

They didn't call #TeamInternet talentless or irrelevant. They posted an article on their website about the TCAs and they talked about how the didn't know anyone except a guy who was 37. And they also talked about youtubers and how they didn't know anything about them (Joey Graceffa? Felix Kjellberg? Lele Pans? Are those even real people?) So Joey tweeted the article and said "I'm Joey Graceffa, youtuber and New York Times best selling author" and that's when everyone (KZbinrs and viewers) started tweeting at E! about how stupid it was from them to not even do any research. Then E! tweeted a "Remember when we gave a youtuber their own show?" And that just made everything worse

cup50123 I stopped watching E! after Chelsea Handler ditched them for a show on netflix. She was the only watchable and talented person on that crappy network. Chelsea Handler said she lost respect for the network and thats why she left... she must have experienced some shady stuff while working there, all makes sense now seeing how they treated Grace.

I respect Grace for having brand oriented content that's actually still worth watching. It's promising to see her maintain her authenticity while simultaneously running her business, and she's smart for listening to her audience because we pretty much tell her what content is quality or marketable. Maybe if I hadn't seen any of her pre-TV content (most of it) I would have been suspicious but there's just no way somebody could maintain a fake level of discomfort that extreme for so long, in so many different conditions. It can only be built on a solid foundation of genuine anxiety,embarrassment, and experience dealing with those things

Laughing is also an effective antidote. I had a classmate who did this whenever something embarrassing happened to her, and by laughing at herself, she showed everyone around her that she didn't take it seriously, didn't consider it to be embarrassing, and therefore was immune to people's negative judgement. People around her who were laughing at her expense quickly realized that they had no way of making her feel embarrassed.
