Make this sweet (and super easy) project for under $15!
Transform your bedroom or living room by hanging a colorful rug. This DIY project is great for people on a budget. The materials cost less than $15.
To do this project you will need:
Wooden pole
Wood stain
Dry wall anchors & screws
Drill
Scissors

Great idea and nice video. Just remember if your rug is wool to check behind it at least once a month. A small closet moth settling in back can do a lot of damage before it's noticed on the front. Also occasionally vacuum or clean your decorative hanging.

I have actually used this idea of the leather belt today to finally hang up a Greenman patchwork! I'd been looking for a quirky and unusual way to do this for a while and it's absolutely fabulous 👍😍👍

Great idea, looks good! However, I'd rather not drill holes in my apartment walls. Will have to find another way. Maybe command hooks and an extra long curtain rod (with fancy finials).

What do i do of the Rug weighs about 70 pounds? Im thinking a metal rail mounted to the bricks on my wall. Then adding a rod like in the video and some clamps. Any help is appreciated thanks yall!

Same. Would like to know how you secured the rug over the bar so it doesn’t slip off.. would imagine if one were to hang it on the bar the weight of the front of it would cause it to slip off soon enough.
