They say proper way to set a hang on ilis to set it so you step down o to platform off your stick instead of trying to step up and then step down looking for step on decent...

Yes, definitely the correct and safe way! The top of your stick should ideally be in line with the base of your stand

I haven't used the stand in 2 seasons bc I lost the strap for the 2nd button ... so you don't really need it? Do you cam lock the stand and all that? Bc when I would only use the top strap the bottom still had a good bit of wiggle to it. Currently the the same sticks just with the edge renegade saddle setup. I love it.

I use only 1 strap some times but I usually try to have two with me. If the stand fits the tree perfectly and all teeth grab the top strap should hold, yesterday I was out in the retrograde stand and had both on but the top was tight after standing on it and the bottom strap was loose because I use it more as a saddle platform. You could also use the renegade strap for the second versa button if you wanted too as well!

You probably could! Just add a S-hook and it’ll work easy!

How you get seat to be like the cold world seat while carrying? Is it secure enough to sit things on?

Put the stick feet under the seat and it’ll hold them up!

I have the same sticks and stand. Just ordered j hooks but been trying to figure out how I could make it work to keep that seat elevated. Can you give some tips?

Hey Cliff, the three steps should still be the same. Two sticks on each side but just moved up where the bottom brackets are holding up the bottom of the seat. We will post a video for you to show exactly what we mean!

Thy don’t have them on their website anymore but they were the single steps, they have the locking single 3 steps but J-hooks is how i connect them to the stand
