How To Hang Christmas Lights Around Windows, Doors and Arches // C9 LED Christmas Lights Custom

This turned out much better than I expected. C9 LED Christmas lights, custom cut to fit around windows, arches and then decorating the columns.

I would use a hot air gun or hair blower to soften the glue when removing them.

I used hot glue on my brick arch but glued zip ties to hold the pvc wreath . It works really well and I do not have any damage as just release the zip ties

Regarding the stucco, if the stucco is painted on, the paint could come off. If it’s the stucco coat, nothing should come off because there’s no actual paint. If it discolors you can just fog it. The way you know if it’s paint vs stucco coat, just spray water on it and if the stucco changes color and gets dark, it’s stucco coat and not paint. If it’s paint and you wet it, you won’t see much color change. You might pull some of the stucco off when you remove the lights but a little stucco patch will fix it right up.

@@Thelawncarenut great, we just did our lights last weekend. We just trace the roof outline and ithe peak of our roof is 28 feet! Really fun lol. And then outline a two bay windows, our columns, and drape some lights on the hedges and add a wreath to the door and gate. You definitely win, but our house is too tall/ big to go over board and we already dominate as is.

they make magnetic strips you can buy and then use magnet clips but that is expensive and seems like a lot of trouble

Just remember, the more glue you use, the more you're going to have to scrape off one you take them down. From the wall and the base.

What spacing did you use on the gutters and ridge?

the factory spacing on these is 12" and I have kept that consistent through the entire install.
