I didn’t know you could do something like that with Canva. Great info and now I will check it out. The hanging discs are better, I think, than those brass kind of plate hangers with very tight springs. For myself, I would place the pieces in more of a centered around the “fireplace” pattern but each of us has a preference and that makes our decorating so individual. Canva is an amazing tool and I use it everyday in my business. It was sooo helpful for this design project. I think it would be great for rearranging furniture in a room too! I love your idea of the plates being around the fireplace! Thanks so much for sharing it😊

Beautiful. Your mirror and sconces tie it all together. I had seen the yellow disc before on a plate at a thrift store. I understand why, but I lean towards not using the gold wall picture hangers, although the gold of those and the sconces do well together! Great idea😊

I do wish there was an alternative to the gold wall picture hangers. They are a bit harsh. I've used command hooks but after a couple of months they are come off of the wall. Fortunatley, I only had baskets hanging from them. One of my daughters collects ironstone and after several months two command hooks gave way and she lost two gorgeous ironston pieces. Agh! It looks really nice. I like it. Yes, it was time consuming cutting out the paper but if you have the time then do it. That mirror is beautiful especially the bevel in it. I love mirrors. I have quite a few with oak framing. You did a super job on it. Never in my life time have I ever seen those plate hangers. Those were so cool n better looking than buying those ugly kind plate hangers with the spring in the back. Definitely have to check that link out. Thanks Cindy for sharing this great idea. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟

My inspiration! I have several very old silver plate pieces (horribly tarnished in storage and so I need to clean!) that I have been trying to find use for and this video really was helpful! I want to do something similar with my mother & mil china. Can you move the yellow disc lower on the backs so the hooks dont show or does that compromise the adhesion?
